The rug has a subtle diamond pattern that gives it interest. The soft camel base color is more neutral than brown, with plenty of grays and a bit of black. The rug would go with a number of room settings, including my black-white-and gray decor. I placed the 6x6 under my desk and rolling office chair, and it glides OK, with just a wee bit of rumpling every now and then that is easily pulled flat with my foot. The rug gives my room a sophisticated, slightly earthy ambience.

We bought the 2x3 size for a small powder room and it fits perfectly. We love the colors and the plushness of the rug. It does need to have a pad underneath to prevent sliding. It shed a good bit for the first couple of weeks, but haven't had any issues since.

The rug itself is a nice texture and pattern. Beware of the color descriptions. “Ivory/light gray” was actually “ivory/black”. Had a friend come over to verify. No gray threads in sight.

This rug is even prettier in person!!! It is absolutely beautiful and I get compliments all the time on it!

Does not look like the photo at all.

Ordered this rug in green because the photo made it look lovely and smooth, like an ocean. When it arrived, it was very scratchy, and multicolored- the green did not come through the way it does in the photo of the item. The man at the returns counter grumbled, "this is why I never buy things online." Noted!

Absolutely love the color and texture. It makes our living room look high end. No smell and shedding (so far). Sizing was off … I got the 9x12 and purchased a 9x12 rug pad and the rug pad was a little too large so I had to trim it. Overall very happy with the purchase

The photo on the website is the wrong color.

The rug on the website said blue and the picture on website is tan like this photo. So the salesperson and myself had to hope the rug was blue. So the photo needs to be changed on this.

Love the texture and look of this rug. It's neutral and with a hint of black in it which will hide dirt.

This rug is very pretty and comfortable to walk on. It does have a bit more black in it than it showed in the picture . It does have a horrible odor and I’m hoping after it airs out for a while it will go away is it was wrapped in heavy plastic. Any suggestions how to make it smell better

We have had this in our primary bathroom for almost a year. The bathroom has plenty of ventilation, including a working window. The rug sits on a vented rug pad on the tile floor. We vacuum the rug regularly using a powder like DE. It still looks beautiful.

Very pleased with the rug. Color was just what I expected from pictures. It definitely needs a rug gripper pad underneath and is thinner than I was expecting but that is not a big deal. Still feels great to walk on. Arrived quickly and flattened out nicely as soon as opened.

Thank goodness, ours did not have any foul aroma. It just smells like wool. Gratefully, it is as pictured and quite pretty. The delivery and communication were very prompt and much appreciated. We are very happy with this purchase! The pattern and color are more subtle than reflected in our picture. Thank you for a great buying experience.

Houzz is a great company to work with. I ordered the first rug while home was being redone, did not see it until months later, and had already ordered two other rugs to match the first! Now that we are in the home, I am pleased with the look, but not the quality of the rugs, I wish I had paid more and bought a better quality rug. I feel I will be replacing all the rugs within a year of use as the quality is not good. I guess the adage You get what you pay for is correct!

I do recommend this rug. The pattern & texture make it unique and nice looking. I think it's more ivory with dark thread through it rather than light gray. It's a little scratchy when I sit on it with thin pants. It does shed, we've had it for a month now and there are little threads that collect and need sweeping/vacuuming. Overall though it's a pretty look, with the raised diamond shapes and contrasting colors. Hoping it will soften & shedding will slow with time.

I purchased two of these Hand Tufted Camel/Gray Area Rugs. I placed one in front of an entry door and the runner along side my kitchen Island. They look and work great in each location. Although, they do have a dominant blue shade, they blend very well in my white/gray color scheme. And even next to my white kitchen cabinets you can hardly detect the blue shade. It comes across as a very soft gray.

While the description says camel and gray, the rug has a bluish undertone to it. Actually looks really nice with our mid century mod styled furniture so I am keeping it. My pictures just don't capture the tone so at least for me, the rug is a bluish gray rather than a blackish gray.
