This rug is not functional for a living room

I bought this rug just 6 months ago and I am already replacing it. I bought this for our living room and right away noticed the wear. Not only that, it rolls constantly. I am daily straightening out the rug even with a rug mat underneath. I have the sticky pads on the corners, also not helpful.

She’s a shedder!

I’ve had this rug for a couple years now and let me just say it’s like having a dog, it will leave wool “hairs” all over you and your kids. I’m here to replace it, I got the 12x15 and regret it. Also. It wasn’t the correct size it ran short.

Love it!

The rug is beautiful! It is a little on the thin side, but the material is high quality so paired with a decent rug pad, it’s fine. I was worried about shedding but followed the company directions and that’s been fine. I bought the rug on sale, so for the price, it was an excellent purchase!

Sheds like crazy / Love the design / thin carpet

This carpet looked really nice online and loved the reviews but when I received the carpet, the things that I liked about it was the color (ivory) and the pattern. But it sheds alot. The carpet is thin, you may want to add a rug pad it will also help with it staying in place. The vacuum does a good job picking things up and not snagging the knots.

My favorite rug

I bought a 5 x 8’ with the dark gray background that actually looks black in real life. I absolutely love this rug! I have it under my dining table, and it has held up very well after buying it a year ago. My husband works from home and often uses the dining table as his workstation during the day, so the rug gets a lot of foot traffic daily. I don’t have kids, but I have an elderly cat who loves to scratch my couch but has never considered scratching up this rug for whatever reason- bonus! I haven’t had any issues with “tumbleweeds” or loose threads. I vacuum very regularly and don’t have any problems. Highly recommend, and I’m considering purchasing a runner for alongside my bed. Totally love it!!!

Sheds like crazy

Such a beautiful rug and I love the style of it but i ended up returning it because it SHEDS and outrageous amount. My baby literally kept choking on hair balls because the fur from the rug was constantly sticking to his hands, toys, etc. Within 2 days of having it in our house there were clumps of fur rolling around like tumbleweeds. I vacuumed it twice and completely filled the canister of out vacuum with loose fur from the rug. Unless you have a pet and don’t mind hair on EVERYTHING I would not recommend

LOOKS great, FUNCTIONS TERRIBLY

I love how this rug looks. It’s exactly what I had in mind, however after having it for 4 months I’m going to have to replace it. It SHEDS so much. I was hoping over time it would stop but it hasn’t. If we even walk near it we have to use a lint roller to get all the fuzz/threads off. Balls of fuzz roll all over the house and when the sun comes in the window you see shedding floating everywhere. We have no pets. All of this is from the rug. I’m really bummed that it didn’t work for us considering that I paid over $500 with the pad and am now back at square one.

Grey = Black & Ivory but is perfect!

The photos online show exactly what the “grey” rug looks like. Yes it is black and ivory. From afar it looks grey. I was hesitant to buy online without seeing in person, but after all the reviews and other purchasers photos I crossed my fingers. It arrived today and it is perfect!! And so soft underfoot!

Really confused with other negative reviews.

After some issues with shipping I finally received my rug. Not sure why so many reviews say that it sheds really bad,it really doesn’t if you know how to take care of it . Right after receiving it I vacuumed it with an upholstery brush attachment that came with my vacuum, it did collect a lot of wool off the top but that’s it! No wool fibers flying around like stated in other reviews. Great rug for the price, it is not gray however, it’s more of black/cream color, which I actually don’t mind. Don’t be afraid of the negative reviews, just vacuum it at least once a week , and you won’t have a shedding problem :)

Gorgeous Rug That Sheds, But WORTH IT

I bought this rug at the beginning of March after deciding I wanted a more high-end look in our new home, more than the seafoam shag trellis rug I had to begin with. I bought this rug in the 13’ x 15’, as well as the 6’ runner, the area rug being for the large living-room and the runner for the kitchen. I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out except to say that I wish it shed a bit less. It is actually ivory and black, but appears grey at any angle other then directly overhead. With a good cushioned carpet pad, it’s great! Otherwise, you may find it a bit “hard” under foot. My rug had very few inconsistencies in the hand knotting though I have read several people say theirs had plenty, so it’s the luck of the draw I suppose. Overall, I would buy this rug again! Great value for the money and looks much more expensive than it actually is!

Love it for my boy's bedroom

I absolutely love this rug! I got it for my boy's room. I wasn't sure how it would stand up to the wear and tear of my 10 and 11 year old son's playing. So far so good. It doesn't show any wear and the color makes it difficult to see any stains. It does shed a bit and it is highly textured and a bit rough on the feet at first but we still love it. If you are having any hesitation about whether or not to buy this rug just do yourself a favor and order it. You won't be disappointed!

I love this rug, but it’s already falling apart and sheds like crazy!

I purchased the rug in August and finally put it out in September. I’ll start by saying, I love the look of this rug. It was just what we were looking for. However, I’m so sad about how it’s holding up. First, the thing sheds EVERYWHERE! There are little tumbleweeds of fuzz all over our house! We vacuum a lot and and it’s still crazy. And our clothes are covered. Secondly, a lot of the white “balls” are coming unlooped from the back of the rug, so are just sticking straight up. Not sure how long this will last in our house :-(

Great rug!

The rug arrived as pictured, with status accurate updates in the Shipment email from RugsUSA (backorder date). It looks and feels great! Worth the wait, and even better than the Holloway Rug which has a similar look but a fringe edge and 2x+ the price.

LOVE IT!!!!

I absolutely love this rug. It's hard to tell in the pictures but it is black, but a soft black due to the mixture of cream within it. It has so much texture and is just beautiful and unique. I wanted a woven looking rug that would be bright, yet have black in it. I have enough gray in my house and wanted to pick up on my black accents. This was perfect!!!! I was going to post a picture but I don't see the option to do that. Great quality also. I saw the same rug in the Magnolia line at Bed Barh and Beyond but it had tassels and I didn't want to deal with the longer tassels flipping out place. It was also extremely expensive. This one is a fraction of the cost and pretty much an exact dupe without the tassels that I didn't want anyways. I highly recommend this.

More black/cream than gray

Beautiful rug! I love it and it has a really nice boho/modern look. It is also really comfy on my feet and doesn't smell out of the packaging. I was definitely expecting it to be white and gray but it isn't. It is white and black. It is still nice, and I'm going to keep it, but I'm not sure i would have ordered it if i had known. If you're looking for black and creme (for a gray-ish effect from far away, but not grey), then this rug is five stars perfect. It is probably best with a rug pad, since the white parts are much more cushiony than the black parts.
