Oriental Wool Rug

the color is a little darker than I expected but it holds up well against the animals in my house. Even though, I find it a bit darker than I thought it would was I still love the colors in the carpet and the pile is lush.

This rug came well packaged and delivery person called in advance and was very cordial. . We love this wool rug in the living room of our new home; just what we wanted. . It does shed (have had for a week now and vacuum daily, not excessive but will do that for a while, unlike non-wool rugs. . I did use the Mohawk reversible felt rug pad with this, purchased from Houzz as well (both came at the same time).

This rug sheds worse than my dog!

I bought this rug a little over a year ago and the instructions did say that it would shed for a short while. I have lost my patience. I have to vacuum it every day and still it looks like dirty dingleberries. I keep vacuuming and hoping that this will be the day that it finally runs out of extra materials but every day is the same. I'm ashamed if someone happens by before I've done my daily purge.

Recently I've purchased quite a few of safavieh rugs all to my great satisfaction. They've each been lovely, great patterns colors, thickness and durable. A pleasure to walk on.

Matched my paint color, feather green = Benjamin Moore #625, perfectly. It took a while for me to find a size rug that would fit my bedroom perfectly. This rugs dimension are perfect. . I am glad I found this special Memorial Day sale. . Can't take a photo with the rug installed until the contractors finish my bathroom.

Sheds like a Labrador

I read the reviews that warned about shedding. I ignored them because I wanted a giant cheap wool rug, and it sounded like there was about a 50/50 chance I'd receive a non-shedder. No such luck. As soon as we unrolled it we noticed a damp sheep smell that still hangs around almost a year later, and the fuzz that comes off of this thing is ridiculous. It doesn't matter what type of vacuum you use, it is going to fill it so fast you'll be surprised it doesn't have bald spots. And it isn't just normal rug fuzz fibers-tiny particles from it settle like dust all over the house. I haven't replaced it yet because I can't find anything similar in the same size that isn't Safavieh. All I can think is it was stored improperly at some point after it was manufactured, and is now decomposing slowly in my living room. Definitely would not recommend, and I imagine returning it would cost more than the original purchase price. So cheers to my new pet rug I have to clean up after daily. Less

Bedroom area rugs

Lovely colors, love them, I am so happy that I chose them. I like also the pike and how you feel when you step. Classic and beautiful, and delivered on time and properly

This rug is very beautiful. The only discrepancy is that it's way more red than the pictures show. I expected it to be a bit more of a brownish red. It's a nice thick pile and you can tell it's a quality rug. It sheds but all my good rugs have for a while. This rug has a nice classy look and it can compliment a high Victorian or even a shabby chic look.

Elegant rug. Would recommend

This became a main part of my decorating scheme after I first saw it. I bought two smaller sizes to complement in the hallways. Very heavy and substantial feeling. Only thing is remember it’s wool so there will be more fuzzies in the beginning.

Nice rug with subdued colors

We've had this in our living room for 3 years now. Shed a bit initially (as all wool rugs do). Easy to clean. Doesn't get an inordinate amount of wear and tear (four people and one medium sized dog in the house) but it's on a main traffic flow from front door to living and dining area, so it does get quite a bit. Still holding up well and looks great. I really like the subdued colors. Our walls are dark sage and burgundy, and we have a ton of light in the room. We even have some blue cushions and a blue-grey chair, and the rug goes well with everything.
