I am so upset! I was like a little kid waiting to get this rug & when it came, it was so below my expectations, it killed my whole feeling. Based on other reviews, I was prepared for the colors not being as bright in person as in the pic's, but I didn't expect it to be dirty. I wasn't sure at first if the yarn color was just dingy, but in good lighting, I realized it actually was dirty. I showed my husband & he was like, "It's definitely dirty." I was trying to take pics to post, but it wasn't captured well in the pics. Several reviews mentioned a very strong "new carpet" smell that took a while to go away. I had to smell the rug closely & there was only a faint "new carpet" smell, which adds to my feeling that maybe this was a rug that was ordered by someone else and returned to BB&B. Rather than find a way to re-wrap it & spending time and money returning it, my husband suggested that I shampoo it. It makes no sense that a 'brand new" rug has to be shampooed! Hopefully, that will improve the look and make me feel better. Yesterday, I ordered a different rug for my son because he really wants it, and I'm praying he likes it. One thing I did find excellent was the way the rug was packaged; it was tied up for the gods! Super-tight, protective packaging... but that shouldn't have been the best thing about it. :(

I love how this beautiful rug looks in my dining room. I spent several months checking out different rug sites before ordering this one from Overstock. I did read all of the reviews and finally decided to go ahead and order it. I got the 8’x10’ and it was just the right size. I have had many complements on how it dresses up my dining area. I have not had any problems with this rug shedding and have had it in my dining room for a week. The colors were accurately described and the design looks very elegant. I did place a rug pad under the rug, but the thickness of the rug makes it feel very comfortable. I will definitely be looking at other rugs from Overstock to purchase. The shipping was free, but my only wish the man who delivered it would have carried it to my dining room. I would highly recommend this manufacturer and Overstock. It arrived quickly and was well wrapped and somewhat easy to unwrap. I’m so happy that it is now in my home.

Gorgeous, Qulity Rug

This rug is gorgeous! It is way softer than any other wool rug I’ve owned. It is very heavy (so difficult to maneuver by yourself), but you don’t have to worry about it curling up at the corners or shifting on the floor. Yes, it does shed, but that gets better after vacuuming a few times. I would totally buy ten more of these if I could afford them!

I put this rug in my living room and everyone that sees the rug thinks it is a 30-40k rug. Think about that for a moment! The colors are very lively and match everything. I have very high-dollar furniture in the living room and a lot of antique furniture as well so you know that this rug has a lot to live up to. The thickness of the wool makes the rug lay properly on the hardwood flooring. I put the rug liner underneath the rug to protect the hardwood floors and make the life of the rug last longer. Most rugs roll up at first and you have to lay items on the rugs until the ends lay down properly but this rug's weight of the wool the rug layered down the first time when we unrolled the rugs made the rug look perfectly done the first time. No fighting with the rug at all.

Everyone’s favorite

This thick rug won’t budge once it’s in place, so you don’t really need a sticky mat or anything underneath. This is the statement piece of my office, and everyone comments on how stunning it is. Keep in mind that it will shed quite a bit, so when you first get it, vacuum it well. The designs on the rug are raised, so unless you have a good suction (we have a cordless dyson) you won’t be able to get the extra fuzzies up. We did also find a few loose strands, but those are easy to cut down. It is not a comfortable texture to touch, and it does leave strands on your clothes if you sit on it. It’s perfect for my adults only office space.

I did not receive the rug I ordered. The first picture is wamhat I bought. The next picture is what I actually received. Not happy about shipping this back. Very annoyed. *** UPDATE*** Overstock did handle my return promptly and made the process as simple as possible. Now I can review the correct rug! It is a bit dingy in appearance (specifically the shade of yellow around the border), not quite as bright as expected.It is very pretty still. I did get this for under my daughters loft bed,and its not very soft. Its prickly when you sit on it to play. Hoping this softens up with time.
