Looks great, but its not very study. When I have shoes in in and pull out the drawer, all of the weight goes forward and tips it over an inch and the drawer is on the floor. It needs to be a heavier material in order for it to work well. Also, Im going to put velcro on the cushion so it doesnt slide.

I would never advise anyone to buy it poorly made/designed. Not fit for purpose. Instructions are horrible.

Very well made - heavy and sturdy. Large drawer holds plenty and opens smoothly. Bench cushion makes it a comfortable seat. Excellent piece.

We have a sunken living room that sits ~2 feet...

We have a sunken living room that sits ~2 feet below the entry and these worked perfectly to line up along the railing of the living room. We installed them to where they look like built ins.

with garbage hardware

I like the simple style and the size worked for the spot I needed it. However, the drawer glides are total garbage. They broke the first time I inserted the drawer and all the ball bearings fell out. I am going to just purchase new glides from the hardware store because there's no way I'm taking this back apart now. The shoe cabinet took me hours to put together because the directions are really poorly done. I've put together lots of IKEA furniture and this took longer because I had to take it apart and flip things around several times. If you can get over the annoyance of putting it together and upgrade the drawer glides, this is an ok piece of MDF. I find it very over priced considering it's made of glue and sawdust but it seems like it will hold shoes okay and didn't break when an adult sat on it. The bar keeps getting lower for furniture :(

Contains the clutter, but...

***EDIT - 3 MONTHS LATER*** Bench is heading to the garbage. Drawer stopped gliding, and is stuck 3 inches open. Small plastic piece fell out along with a ball bearing. *** In the end, it's doing the job I needed it to do (contain entryway clutter), but it could be so much better. Locking hardware is painful to lock. Drawer glides are cheap and sound bad in use. Drawer doesn't line up.

Entryway bench review

After putting together I returned. Ascetically it was just a big white box and did not look good in my home. The materials were of good quality & it was relatively easy to assemble. I purchased on sale & would definitely not pay full price for this item.

The cabinet is adorable! Easy to put together and is perfect for what I bought it for in my kitchen! Only complaint is the drawer isn’t lined up 100%.
