These chairs are not quality and they will scratch your floor. They are uncomfortable- hollow and the wood feels like plastic. . . I will be selling them on marketplace for a loss or giving them away. . . There is a notice in the packaging material that says they may scratch your floors. . . I have mexican tile which scratch easily. . . This should have been in the description because I wouldn't have purchased them.

Great stools same "Christopher Knight Home Ximen Fir Wood Barstool with Backrest, Naturally Antique" but without the extra $30 added for the "Christopher Knight" name. They are well made and assembled easily, four nuts to tighten with included wrench.

Well made and good value. Heavy and sturdy. Swivel is a plus and like the adjustable height for versatility. We ordered two from Houzz and liked them enough to order two more.

The GDF counter stools arrived on time and were very easy to assemble. I liked that GDF sent and extra nut for each stool back. Didn't need them but nice to have just in case. The stools fit our counter quite nicely. The two sides of the counter are different heights, and it's great that the stools adjust so easily. We like the slightly weathered texture of the wood (it is not as rough as we expected after reading a few reviews) and the rustic appearance of the metal. The stools seem strongly built and the plastic leg inserts have created no scratches on the hardwood floor. No complaints regarding Houzz or the stools. We would recommend them to friends.

I purchased two of these barstools a couple years ago as a quick fix--simply because they were a great price at the time (and I had a coupon code), and I really, really needed at least two bar-height, easy to clean stools for my then-new home. The swivel is a plus (and convenience for getting in and out of these), and so is the adjustable height, which meant I knew I could repurpose these for other places in the kitchen/home if I ended up some day finding other barstools I liked better. The barstools arrived well-packed and only required limited assembly. And the steel bases are quite substantial and weighty--very solid. A nice addition to the other pewter and gunmetal-colored industrial accents in my vintage-meets-modern loft-style home. Fast-forward two years: as other reviewers have mentioned, the seats are a little rough and cracked (and I was worried about that at first), but in two years of owning these barstools, I have not had any snagging incidents and the weathered appearance works for my interior. Also, they'd be really easy to upholster some day if I wanted to change them up. Was considering other, pricier stools to round out my bar-height seating needs, but have been so happy with these, am considering simply re-ordering a couple more to round out the two additional bar-height seats I need.
