My favorite

The installer recommended this vent hood and it is actually my favorite purchase from my kitchen remodel. I love the way it looks, but mostly the way it operates. Fan is good and not too loud in any speed.Its nice having 3 speeds. I use the light a lot. It was an easy install and looks very good in my kitchen.

New Under the Cabinet vent with light for kitchen!

Nice sleek vent hood for my small kitchen works perfect for the space. Multiple settings are super helpful and the light it bright! It was very easy to install for retrofit.

Ductless needs charcoal filter sold separately

Great option for ductless range hood! Purchased the charcoal filter (not included) and it was a huge improvement over my microwave fan combo. Cooked the first night and no smells in the house, amazing. If you are unable to duct a range hood, this is the one. Looks nice underneath and light is good.

this is louder than i’d hoped but not a big bother. looks great. sleek design. took a bit of finangling to get it hooked up. power cord access hole right-of-center threw me a curve. power cable securing bracket is cheap and welded only on one side. again, nit picking.

Great hood-revise review

This was installed incorrect o that the recirculating plate was covered and therefore not functioning correctly. Wrote a negative review. Now that it has been reinstalled it is very good! Need better instructions.

Great look and style for updating kitchen. Used this as a ductless and worked perfectly. The light is dim but that’s perfect for me because I only use it as a nightlight in the kitchen. The fan is pretty loud but I’ve heard much louder from others.

After Months of Researching,Best Purchase Ever!!

Let's just say, i am Not an impulse buyer. It takes months, sometimes years to find exactly what I want. Well, I found it! It looks beautiful that's a given. it has a cord so no direct wiring to do. the buttons, you just touch your finger over them to turn on, you don't even have to push them which I think is pretty cool. The filters are chrome and there's a clip that you just flip and they come out for easy cleaning and the filters also make add to the high end look. Fan and light function is great as well. It has the perfect amount of light for cooking, the fan cleared smell and smoke at level 2.

Hood Range Is Beautiful and Effective

I love how my hood range completes my kitchen. It's sleek and modern design fits perfectly with my range. This range hood is not only beautiful, it is very effective in removing smoke, steam and fumes from the air as I'm preparing meals. The fan motor is louder than expected but the power behind it is the reason for its effectiveness; a fair exchange if you ask me.

Misleading

Just received this range today. I specifically ordered this one for its size. The pictures and instruction manual says the depth dimension is 16 3/4 deep… however after receiving it and measuring it is actually 19 inches deep! So it will stick out a lot farther than I wanted. Also the instructions say it is hard wired which is what set up we had… but the range came with a corded plug. So now we have to install an outlet. Wish we knew all of this ahead of time before ordering. It looks like a nice appliance but the two issues I have are pretty big ones to deal with especially the depth measurements being wrong.

Solid product

I recently purchased and installed a Hauslane UC-B018, and I am very happy with the purchase. I was able to successfully install the unit with only average difficulty. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting to upgrade their existing unit. If you don't have the electrical and ductwork in place, and you are not the handy type, then I would not recommend this as a do-it-yourself project. Even with those things in place, I did face some challenges, but the unit is in and working as advertised.

Different than what we expected

We were looking for a hardwired range hood. The instruction manual said it was a hardwire install so we bought it considering it didn't say anything on the site but we got one that had a plug. Had to hire an electrician to put in a box. When we called to ask why it was hardwired the representative was very defensive and harsh in her response. I think the product is a very well built and designed but the customer service experience could be improved

Decent Ductless Hood

It is hard if not possible to find a decent ductless hood. Most hoods don’t do the job like the microwave ductless hood. After my research, just find this solid model. The installation is easy. I am not a handy person, but it only takes me an hour to install it. After putting the charcoal filter on, you are good to enjoy cooking.

Good looking unit

I saw my friend got this unit. After doing some research, it seems to have all the bells and whistles, so I decided to give it a try. No regret. Definitely a good buy. The LED light is bright; the filters are easy to clean; the physical appearance is great.

Professional Look

We loved the professional modern look of this range hood. The insert style allowed us to build a custom pallet wood surround to tie the kitchen together. Easy install and a quality product. There is a slight vibration noise in air intake grate at low speed but it goes away at medium and high speed.

Nice Good Value Hood

This is a nice sleek range hood. The exhaust fan is MUCH quieter than my old hood. Haven't needed fan for any major cooking disasters yet but seemed to work really fast on minor cooking problems. My kitchen remodel contractor installed it so I don't know how difficult it is to install.

Simple and elegant design; love the LEDs

Very happy with this purchase. I bought this for its very simple and understated design. I wanted the attention to go to other elements in my remodeled kitchen, not a hood. It was not easy to install because of the pre-existing cabinets, but that's not the fault of this product. There are simple installation guide that shows it is possible to install with one person. I love the LEDs the most. The high setting feels like I'm in a professional kitchen.
