Poorly designed brackets

The brackets on these shelves don't fit onto 16" studs. And the screws didn't go into the holes that were made to secure the shelf to the wall. The shelf was hanging off the wall. Very poorly designed, although they would've looked nice if they actually were made good..

Do not buy

The bracket holes do not line up with the pre-drilled holes in the shelf. They designed this without accounting for the shelf overhang. Do not buy.

DO NOT BUY !! The shleves themselves are fine, bt the hardware to mount them is a disaster. The rods that mounmt to the wall are almost always the wrong length to match the holes in the bottom of the shelves. Therfore you can't finish the installation. Great concept. TERRIBLE ENGINEERING If you want to dril lholes in your walls and then find that nothing works ... go fo it.

Shelves are fine but the hardware to hang them is a disaster. Rods are bent and they also don’t align with the holes in the shelves. I had to put washers behind every support rod. I tried five shelves and they all have the same problem. When you hang the shelves and then discover the issue, and try to back the screws out of the wall, the anchors come out and then won’t work. Then you’re left with holes in the walls and have to buy toggle bolts. Believe me, I know what I’m doing… these are awful.

Who designs this stuff?

The screws to stabilize the shelf do not line up with the holes in the metal bars when you mount it on a wall.

Do not buy these, they are a piece of junk. We have spent hours trying to put them up. This is a definite design flaw, the holes do not match up. Now we are tearing up the wall to get them down. To top it off, they want to make me pay nearly $** to return them. Never had this problem when they were Overstock. Buyer beware!

They look great but Had a hard time mounting these. They aren’t as sturdy as some similar shelves we have bought. Not sure if that’s because we installed improperly but it seemed more difficult then it should have been

Poor quality product

Very cheap looking and really poor quality shelves... I took out one and put it right back in the box - it looked horrible and so cheap! delivery kept being moved back every day also and the shelves came much later than stated when originally bought. Overall, really dissatisfied with this purchased - I returned it the same day but unfortunately had to pay $*** shipping...:-( Won't be shopping at bed Bach & beyond for furniture again for sure!

Shelves arrived quickly and were well packaged, Just as pictured with nice "wood grain" and color. Easy to hang.

Nice shelves

These shelves worked perfectly in the bathroom to fill in wall space above the toilet area. Seem sturdy enough for our needs. Using more for decor than storage

Nice shelves

I ordered these shelves and was fairly pleased with the quality but the color was off from what I expected. I think if they would have been the right color they would have looked very nice and been exactly what I wanted.

Problem Securing Shelf

I put one shelf up only to discover that the hole in the bracket does not line up with the hole in the bottom of the shelf so that the screw can be used to secure the shelf. It's not an easy fix to just take the shelf down now that we've placed drywall anchors into the wall. It's a nice except for this big issue.

Sturdy construction.

Really like the shelves. The brackets insert into the shelves and then are secured with a screw underneath. Unfortunately, the screw didn’t properly align but it wasn’t really needed.

Nice Shelves

These floating shelves are working great for me. I am giving it 4 stars because my contractor had some difficulty getting the mounting hardware to match up.

Poor QA on unwelded metal part

The product arrived with a damaged metal piece that was not welded. I have to take it back to Lowe’s and order another pair of shelves.
