Works Great if pre-cooled!

In July 2022, Pre-cooled for 12 hours and it worked great! Cooler was in Jeep for 3 day 105° Moab trip, kept ice for duration. In May 2022 no pre-cool, 90° day 1, ice melted.

These are expensive! But you get what you pay for! Very high quality, holds ice for day in the tropical Darwin weather.

No 8-10-day retention

Awesome cooler

I needed a small cooler for the back seat of the truck and the description of this cooler sounded perfect. I used frozen water bottles for ice and this truly is an extended use cooler.

Don't Waste Your $.

Ice barely lasts 2 days. First 4 uses outside temp was 65-70 degrees. Ice lasts longer in a $30 Igloo cooler or maybe even in the Engle cooler's heavy plastic shipping bag. The cooler looks good though.

Was virtually new, with no signs of use or blemishes. I have 6 high end coolers which bought new and can't tell difference

Engel 25 quart rotomolded extreme ice chest

Best ice chest I've ever owned. Rotomolded sturdy it could be sat on or stood on and retains ice exceptionally long highly recommend this product another fact the ice chest challenge it beats Yeti, and several highly recognized brands buy half a day to a day for ice retention very good product. I highly recommend this product.

Beware of like new products being solld as NIB.

The cooler was likely a returned item or was manufactured when the quality control folks were out to lunch. A noticeable discolored scuff mark on the lid approximately 2 X 7 inches in length was very obvious. A cosmetic flaw that perhaps justifies the discounted price. Otherwise an excellent cooler!

We were out for 3 weeks with temps in the mid to high 60's & the cooler was kept in the shade. The cooler was used for canned & bottled drinks & only opened 3 to 4 times a day...this in my opinion is very weak performance. I would not buy this cooler again & an currently looking at other brands!

This thing was impressive. Just did a my first road trip from LA to Anza Borrego in an open top Jeep. Put 20lbs of ice in an empty cooler Thursday morning. Started adding already-chilled beer from breweries later that afternoon. We had some luck with cool/cold nighttime temps and the cooler got a bunch of shade in the backseat, but it was in the 80s some of the weekend. It's Monday afternoon now, and even after leaving it in the car overnight, it still has ice and the drinks are still frosty cold. Love that it has a drain. Chose this one over the Yeti Roadie 24 and really happy.

The standout feature is the latch which allows for easy open and close, unlike the Yeti's or similar products. My gripe is that this is not a 25 liter cooler even though it read ENG25. In fact, it is 21 liter according to the specs on the official website. So the value when compared to the YETI 20 liter evaporated.

ENGEL 24 can ice cooler

We use the smaller cooler for the car. ENGEL coolers are the best coolers for your buck. They keep your drinks very cold for days. I recommend ENGEL coolers as this one is also water proof, they also float.

Perfect size cooler for my Campers

I build teardrop campers, and these coolers are perfect size, and come in nice colors. I wanted a cooler to keep ice for a good amount of time, and Engel coolers fit my needs.

Better than Yeti

I use Mari e grade coolers for multi-day river rafting trips and Just bought my second Engel cooler. I do have Yeti as well, but Engel are more sturdy, hold ice slightly longer, have easier latches, and are a better price in my opinion.

Very functional

My new cooler does what it says it will do. It’s strong, well insulated and is my fridge I placed in my camper. Am sold!!!

Good small cooler

This is a good small cooler that I keep in my car. It is not as tall as other brand coolers and fits well in the trunk of a compact car. It also fits a 5 pound of ice perfectly with the dry basket installed. My complaints are that the drain plug must be tightened strongly or else it leaks. Another downside is that a gallon of milk or water is too tall in the cooler to close the lid .
