I purchased this heat storm Phoenix 1000 watt heater, to use in my living room, I have no central heat and being in a bad winter season its hard for the gas trucks to get to us. It works perfect I've had it on auto for an entire day for about a 300 square feet room. It heats the room nicely and the adjoining kitchen as well. Thermostat works as it should, plug hasn't gotten hot nor has the wall. Did have it in the floor the first day , it makes the floor warm but not real hot. I'm glad I made the purchase, and would purchase again in the future if needed. Thaks heat storm for being dependable, and so far reliable.
excellent
I totally enjoy this heater. I bought this as a second one. Plug it in, set the temp and never visit it again. Handsome on the wall, quiet, efficient and effective. It has been perfect for my use as back up room heat here in NW Montana. Overnight when my fire stoke goes out till morning, this little heater keeps the edge off. Couldn't ask for more without it being a full on 220v install. Great heater.
I used this heater in our church bathroom to replace an old water radiator one that was useless.

Infrared heat, I thought, was to heat what it was 'aimed' at, not the air around the heater. In that regard the heater wasn't what I wanted. And a couple of times it quit working for no known reason - thankfully I was in and out of the garage often enough that I noticed it wasn't working before anything froze. We installed a proper garage heater last year and now use this one in the gazebo on chilly nights - works well for that.
This heater ROCKS! I got it during a really cold snap. It was -20 degrees in my area. I got this as supplemental heating for my garage as my sunheat just couldn't keep up.This heater has been the perfect solution.
Heat Storm 1500 WiFi
We have a 400 SF cottage that is one room with a separate bathroom. This unit easily kept us warm at 68° while it was 44° overnight. We initially bought this to supplement our mini split which can struggle in colder weather, but will now just turn the mini split off and use this heater alone. Would definitely recommend and purchase again! Set up of the unit, and the Wi-Fi was very easy.
The unit does work in a small room. It has a short black cord limiting where it can be mounted to be most effective. A white cord would esthetically look better. The digital control is a nice feature but it does not sufficiently heat a room to adjust like a thermostat, An on/off is ample for it's limits. It has a nice design, it may work well in a 1/2 bath. The price was to high, I would not buy it again,
very disappointed
I needed something to warm up my dog's kennel in the garage. This heater was supposed to heat a larger area than others according to the description online. Once it got here and I read the instructions and all the warnings that came with it I plugged it in and tried to set the temperature. It didn't go well. Using the remote didn't work either. Once I got it going the air flow was quiet but disappointing since I couldn't adjust it. I do not recommend this heater for garage heat. Also, if you are not electronically inclined do not order this heater.
Awesome little heater
When I received this heater it was negative 15 degrees outside. I bought it to help heat my 450 square foot attached garage. I was running a sun heater but it couldn't keep up with the really cold temperatures. This little heater kicks butt. Super easy to install. I got it put up in 5 minutes. Plugged it in and the garage maintains a nice and toasty 70-72 degrees.
awesome ❤
These are fantastic heaters! they work very well! These heaters are a great colder space heat because it can be turned down for low temperature applications (40 degrees)! As for heat modes they are very easy to adjust with low/auto/high! You can dim the screen output as needed! Easy to clean filters as well! We have 3 of these unit ( 2 wifi 1500's and 1 wifi 1000 ). Absolutely a fantastic (wall mount just about anywere) heater for most any space! Buy them...you wont be let down.
[Rewarded Review] Radiant heater
I purchased this heater along with the smaller one for my cabin to use with my generators when it wasn’t cold enough to need to waste actual propane while I was working on the inside. These heaters work well if you buy them with the understanding of what they are and are intended for. I purchased the Bluetooth models which were neat and worked well. You download an app called smart home and you can connect this along with any of smart device or accessories that you have that utilize the app. The connection is done via WiFi or in my case I used an old phone and connected to my hotspot. Through the app you can monitor everything and power everything on and off it’s neat. These are radiant style heaters so they don’t heat like your typical heater that blows warm air. Radiant heaters work by heating the objects near it which in return heats the room. They are more efficient and my opinion safer. They are not real loud but you do know they are on. I purchased this one and the smaller one and though it took probably 1 hour with both on I did heat my cabin which is 420sq ft or 14x30ft with 7ft ceilings. They together brought it from 44-75 before the winter came. They are more made for a room that doesn’t get good heat from the heat runs or as you’re getting ready and taking a shower. Just know they are 100% efficient but while doing so require a decent amount of energy to make the heat. Just realize if you use one every day sun up to sundown and not just as needed chances are you’re going to notice a increase in your power bill. The more often it’s being used the more you will likely notice. One using it moderately will likely only notice a small change as in a few dollars if that but all the time it wouldn’t surprise me to see a increase of a drastic amount you instantly notice say $100 +/-. That’s also a extreme example and that would require running it for hours upon hours a day basically in your room door shut using it like your own furnace because your cold. Realize any and all electrical heaters are a large draw no different than a hair dryer or coffee pot or your toaster or microwave and hot water heater. Just think about what you’re doing when using one and you’ll be fine and you’ll like it I just like to educate others on lessons I learned the hard way.
heat Storm Pheonix
amazing product. I bought this heater to warm and maintain my tiny house on wheels. location is extremely cold and drops down to single digits. tiny house with loft is 220 square feet. definitely does the job.I leave unit running 24/7 while gone and never worry about fire hazard, also called company direct and they confirmed its safe to leave on like your normal thermastat at home.
They work great! Quiet operation. Shutoff at set temperature and resets/restart if power goes out. My furnace died and I can’t replace ATM due to floor underneath weak and bowing so using these heaters to keep house warm until I can get it fixed. They are awesome! I have kerosene heaters as well but these work better and are more efficient since cold is coming from floor( I live in a mobile home).
Heats 960 sq.ft as main heat source year round with 2 heaters. These units are in my opinion the greenest solution out there and virtually worry free. We been using infrared heaters for 8 years and these are the best. Clean, cost effective and will definitely buy again. ps approximately after 20000 hrs use would suggest replacement due to the fact that the life expectancy (5yrs). Excellent Product
The axillary heater for my bedroom works well enough. Our room is in the corner of teh house where the wind generally comes from in the wind. The easy to install, heater works great to keep this room are a comfortable temperature at night. The timer is great with lots of options for times and temperatures. I placed a fan in front of it to circulate the warm air better. The heater does struggle to get to temperature on its own but as a supplement to the furnace for a colder room its fine.
Started freezing after 3 weeks
I really like this heater and it has been great for our upstairs bedroom… When it actually works. It recently started freezing for no apparent reason. Sometimes, it does not turn on and the touch screen is not responsive and our room will be cold when we go upstairs at night. The only way to get it to work again is to unplug it and plug it back in. Other than this, I think it’s great, but I can’t give it any more than 1 star as it isn’t doing it’s basic job- heating the room!
DO NOT BUY--DOES NOT HEAT--NOT WORTH IT
Does not heat.
1500 wifi heater
Installation was pretty straightforward. Having the square cardboard level was a nice touch. I have installed it in my non heated/cooled sunroom. I haven't tried the wifi part of it yet, however, I have it set to auto and heats the 200 sq ft room decently. I plan on also setting up a mounting spot in my garage so I can move it there on those cold days to be able to work in there. It does take a little bit to heat the room, probably 15 or so minutes, but will maintain that temp on auto. Just READ the directions and you shouldn't go wrong.
Not impressed. Does not heat very well.
I am using this as a secondary space heater in my 360 sf attached workshop that is well insulated. It only heats up if you are within about 8 inches from the unit. I stuck my hand a couple of feet away and it feels like it is blowing cold air. My main heater keeps the room around 65 degrees. This heater doesn't seem to make a difference if you are two or more feet away. The heater still blows air around. Not my understanding of how infrared works. I will be returning this for something better.
