Sparrows and wrens have taken over the bird feeder and chased away the chickadees. This feeder allows the chickadees to get to the food and keeps the larger birds out. Great feederJoe

Trying to keep black birds away from my feeders

The spaces on the cage are too small.

Openings too small

This feeder is beautiful unfortunately the song birds cannot fit through the openings to sit on the perches and feed. I’ve watched my smallest birds, the Gold Finches, trying to reach the seed through the cage openings but cannot slip inside as they are even too big. I cannot return it as an animal knocked it down the first night and took it apart, losing the bolt that allows it to hang. I’ve rigged it with wire but it appears to be futile since the birds cannot feed from it anyway.

Nothing close to the picture. Squirrels killed it

Do NOT order this. What you get is a flimsy black cage with a plastic tube, NOT worth anything close to bronze or 8x8x13, and certainly nothing close to the cost of the $45 purchase price. The squirrels got into it the first day it was up and destroyed it from the inside out. A piece of JUNK.

It looks great and is serving the purpose.
