Office Chair

I needed a new office chair for my office at home and this chair is perfect. It is very comfortable and great quality. I am an avid shopper at American Furniture Warehouse and I plan to shop there for many years to come due to the quality of material and the level of service I receive. Also, they are fairly priced.

After COVID, and workloads started to demand more from home, it took me 3 years of finding the right chair. One that is econimic, ergonimic, and right size. With the help of AFW staff, that goal was met, and happy to have taken the time to do research and test chairs. Very happy with both product, and service.

Absolute Garbage

This chair is a piece of junk. I'm choosing my words lightly so consumers can see this review. This chair is a real pain to put together. I almost tossed it out the window. This is a real poor design. There are so many better options out there than this. Its not even comfortable. Don't waist your money.

Not for tall people

Back doesn’t reach my shoulder blades, seat front hits way up my thigh. Was supposed to be big and tall, fine for big not for tall. Going to have to live with it I guess. May donate to the firehouse and go somewhere for a real tall.

Great Buy!

I was looking for a comfortable office chair at an affordable price. This definitely fits the bill. Sitting for hours while working used to be a painful experience. This chair has reduced much of the pain and fatigue from sitting for extended periods of time.

John's chair

This is the second office chair we have bought like this. It helps my husband be comfortable with his disease process. Better than expensive medical furniture. The first one we had 7 years. Thankful for AFW quality furniture.

Ordered for Hubby after he injured his back and his old chair kinda broke. This one worked great for him. He was able to sit in it for hours, when the only other place he could be comfortably for hours was lying in bed! Nice and sturdy. We're big people and we feel secure that it won't break, no matter who sits in it. Yay. My son, who put it together, was a bit perplexed. He wished the screws provided were just a smidge longer. All in all, we are very happy.

Great Chair

Although it took several weeks to get this chair I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Absolutely the easiest assembly of any office chair I’ve had. Chair is very comfortable. Can’t speak for durability as I’ve only had it a few weeks but it seems to be well constructed so I look forward to a long use life. At this point I would recommend purchasing.

This is the third chair that we have purchased of the exact model. We have replaced each of our office chairs with this model. It is very comfortable and works great. Myself and two oldest sons are big and tall and this is a great chair for a very good price. Each time the chair has arrived either on time or early and in perfect condition.

The problem buying items online, such as an executive chair with swivel seat, is that one cannot sit in it or touch it. I had help putting it together, (it takes 2 people), and when I sat in it I found it was not comfortable. It is built heavy duty and holds a good sized adult, but there is no leaning back, one remains stationary. The arms of the chair are too far back to use comfortably as an arm rests. The faux leather doesn't hold up well; within a week a small rip appeared on the seat. The material is thin and therefore flimsy. I do not recommend this product.

Oh My Gosh

Chair was delivered in a box all beat up and torn. Parts came with absolutely no instructions. I had to be a contorsion artist to put the thing together. Bolt heads holding the bottom and the back are marginally larger than the holes they go through....as a result, I expect it will have bolts slipping through the holes.

Our office chair is probably the most used chair in our house - so it has to be comfortable, adjustable, durable and attractive. It also doubles as a “gaming chair” when our grandchildren are over - so it needs to be tough enough to withstand the activity of teenagers.

not as comfy as it looks

This chair wasn't all that hard to assemble although there was nothing in the directions noting how to "release" the chair so you could tilt back. turns out there were two screws that had to be loosened up in order to tilt it.

Good Chair For The Right Person

This is a nice chair. It looks decent. The leather is a bit on the thin side but it still feels really nice. It is a VERY sturdy chair. I am neither tall enough nor heavy enough to sit in this chair comfortably. I a am 5'7" 170lb. woman. My husband is a much better fit at 5'11", 230lb. This chair is actually rated for up to 400lb. It doesn't say that in the store but it does on the tag in the box when you open it. You'll need to have the upper body weight and torso height for it to be comfortable. The chair does have the ability to recline, which is tension adjustable, but it does not have seat-depth adjustment and the seat does not tilt. The arm rests are not adjustable. The chair cannot be assembled without the armrests. The problem I have at my height is that this chair is just too big for me. The armrests do not fit under my desk. We won't be returning it because my husband likes it. I would recommend this chair for an average-height man over 200lb. Also, I have seen this exact same chair elsewhere for over $250. American Furniture Warehouse has the absolute best price.

Sturdy but...

I'm a 220lb man which grew tired of those weak flimsy chairs that are rated for my size but often break within a year so I purchased this chair knowing it is rated well beyond my weight range. Let me tell you it is built to last! It is one sturdy chair! That being said the only issue that I see is the assembly. Starting the assembly (may) require a second person to hold the pieces as you install the main single bolt in the rear of the back rest and then again when you attach the back rest to the seat. It will depend your ability to handle this large piece of furniture around as you put it together. All in all though, for the price, I would recommend this product!
