Unexpectedly Perfect

Our dog destroyed the plastic tray in his kennel. I chatted with Janis to find a replacement. She found me one and I was surprised when it arrived. It did fit in perfectly, and it is not plastic but galvanized metal. How perfect. I don’t think the dog will ruin this too easily. Thanks Janis.

Shortly after adopting Daisy, I found that she was chewing on the plastic bottom tray of her cage. I spent several hours literally wrapping the entire pan with duct tape, hoping that that would prevent her from chewing. It did not. I was terribly worried about the sharp small pieces That were breaking off. I was worried that she would swallowing or at least get cut by them. This metal pan fits perfectly in the bottom of her cage, and I no longer have to worry about her chewing.

Rusty & Poor Quality

I bought 2 of these metal crate trays to replace the plastic ones that came with wire crates. The tray in my puppy’s crate is pictured after mild usage. The puppy splashes a bit of water when she drinks and, sadly, this causes a LOT of rusting. We’ve tried cleaning up the rust each day, but it comes back so quickly. My puppy now has rust stains on her coat after lying on the tray for only 2 hours. I don’t know what metal this tray is made of, but it is not at all durable. Overpriced given the extreme lack of quality. The second tray with the older dog (who doesn’t splash water) is okay.

Great Crate Tray

This a very sturdy, but lightweight replacement for the sometimes less durable plastic tray depending on how rough your pets treat the original "floor". The Kopek tray fits perfectly into the crate slot and it's resistant to water spills and accidents, easy to clean if needed.

The replacement trays are good but would not fit in my dogs' wire crates.

Metal Crate Tray

Worth every penny! My English Bulldog was chewing up whatever crate bottom I used because he's so excited to "go!" He even chewed up the hard plastic crate bottom that came with the crate so I removed it worrying he'd lose a tooth chewing! He went through many KONG matts (and they are tough and $$!) and that would then leave him standing on the "wire" bottom which can pinch a tow or hurt feet after he'd roll the matt/cushion/blanket up. With this metal bottom, he can't chew it and it's a very tight and perfect fit so he's NEVER standing on a wire or pinching his toe, but is on a solid bottom. I'm no longer spending $50+ on crate matts that don't work! Instead, just put a quilt in there for comfort and solved the problem! :)

not worth the money, causes more problems then it solves

This turned my dogs fur grey and has stained it. Do not buy this item unless your dog already has a bed that goes into the crate with them. I have to bath my dog twice a week just to get his fur from turning colors. If I could give this a zero star rating I would. This isn’t a good replacement for ANY kind of tray for a kennel.

Metal beats plastic

Fits perfectly the old tray was chewed and swallowed and thrown up by our precious aggressive chewer, problem solved 41 x 27 inches give or take. The raised edge is not too high to fit our ovation trainer 1942dd
