Very good workbench.

I took my time deciding what workbench to purchase or whether to try and build something my self. I chose this workbench at Grizzly for having what I needed in a workbench, which were the two vices, dog holes, table thickness, size of the table, and adjustable table height. The table was easy to assemble with the screw holes predrilled. I had reviewed the assemble manual online before my purchase.

Extremely disappointed

Looks great in the picture - going on three weeks still waiting for mine. The carrier they use must of came from a Cracker Jack box. Paid $199 for freight, $34 for drop gate delivery. You would think you’d get somewhat of a reliable delivery.

Awesome bench with a few assembly issues

Definitely worth the price. Awesome workbench. The reason many people had trouble with the drawers is poor assembly instructions regarding position of the tracks. Took me 3 tries. Suggest you put the tracks on the drawers first to see where they go and how they work and THEN fasten them to the bench. I believe this bench to be structurally sturdier than the classic all wood European model and look forward to many years of service.

Good Work Bench

Very happy with the work bench. Assembly was easy, done in about 1.5 hours. Going in I was skeptical that all the pre-drilled holes, bolts, nuts, etc. would all match up, but they did. No missing parts and everything fit. Very sturdy and well designed/built.

Solid as a rock!

This is my first workbench. Could not be more pleased. Solid and stable for all I throw at it. The adjustable legs came into play with my floor being sloped and a bit uneven. It’s the centerpiece of my shop!

Took some time to get put together (an hour), don't get in a hurry, this will be in your shop for years do it right. Wish I had treated myself to this table a long time ago. I enjoy how solid the table is. Had projects clamped up on first day so no rest for this table, I love that this table feels like it is there to work!! Great birthday gift for me!!!!

This table is exactly what I wanted

This was a gift to me from my wife (which I had lots of input on). It is exactly what I wanted and fit into my workshop. The adjustable legs allowed me to get it to the specific height and level it to compensate for the slope of the shop floor.

Almost perfect workbench

After reading all the reviews, I bought this workbench and assembled it. I'm pleased to tell you that the two major complaints from the reviews seem to have been addressed in this design. 1) The instructions are accurate and helpful. I don't know if they updated them (says copyright 2008) or they updated the table, but it doesn't matter what order you put the vices or drawers. Neither interferes with the other. Just check my photos. The vices and drawers are independent of each other and spaced adequately. This is not an issue. Put them on in any order you'd like. 2) There is plenty of space under this bench. They give you two holes to set your bottom shelf. I chose the lower position. The only negative is that you need to undo the shelf to adjust the height, but that's not a big deal. I don't plan to adjust the height often, if ever. This table is heavy, sturdy, flat, and has great functionality. My only complaints are that I would have preferred it to be slightly bigger and I wish it had a quick release vice rather than having to unwind it to make quick adjustments. Other than that, this workbench is terrific and I highly recommend it.

After trying to put this bench together I found that there "sack" of hardwere was a joke!

The bench dogs were missing. The bench should have come with "4" it came with none. I made several trips to a local hardware store to get the required hardware. Maybe the personal who set this hardware should take a lession from their kids set from Low-Goes. There packages are set in muber system where a step by step with a instruction book telling how each step is used to build the final project. They have a special tray with numbers on the tray with each bag of parts to finish the project. This would make Grizzly a stand out!

Great table

I like the table. It's very handy. The only issue is that it is not flat. There is a 1/8 to 3/16 upward bow across the center of the table.

Great quality, everything fit together as it should.

I selected this bench as my birthday gift from my wife (thanks so much sweetie). I was pleased that delivery was as expected and that all parts fit together exactly as they should ... no mis-aligned holes or other issues that often crop up with items that require assembly. The only critique I would offer has to do with the assembly instructions. The drawer mounts should be installed before the shelf and also the illustrations on drawer assembly are not quite correct. A bit more detail on vise installation would also be helpful. It would be beneficial if the screws were identified by size and quantity in the parts list as well. Still, most folks who order such a bench are already pretty handy with tools and should be able to figure out these things. Overall, the quality is excellent, it is sturdy, doesn't rock and one of the key selling features for me is that it is height adjustable. I have already used it for several shop projects.

I am very pleased with my work bench. I very seldom take the time to write a review for anything I purchase, but in this case it was justified. The only thing that I found that is a minus, was during the manufacturing process they let the skirt slip inward in one corner during glue-up. The rest was top notch and I love it.

Fantastic value, very sturdy, easy assembly.

I needed a stable non-wobbly bench for wood working, but could not afford the $2500-5000 price tags of the more traditional all wood benches. This fits the bill nicely and the adjustable height is a plus.

Great Bench - Poor Instructions

This is a great workbench for the price. The bench provides a very heavy and solid work surface. As others have stated, the assembly instructions are not well written and inaccurate. Contrary to the instructions, you need to install the vices before installing the drawers. If the drawers are installed first, they will have to be removed to provide room to install the vices through the pre-drilled access holes. Overall, I am very please with my purchase.

Good bench. Great service!

This bench is just what I expected. Assembled easily, very heavy duty. I do wish the vises were quick release type. Better was the service by the Grizzly team. There was some hidden freight damage. Grizzly sent necessary items to resolve the issue and quickly completed the process.

I normally use Saw horses and a 4 x 8 piece of plywood to use as my outfeed table and work bench. however it was never flat enough to make cabinet doors. Finally this table gives me the ability to make better furniture. Im very happy with it.
