Okay for the price
Decent bowls, especially for the price, but with a couple of caveats. I ordered these because my oldest is moving out to a college dorm. I have some very old mixing bowls that used to be my mom's, and my original thought was to hand down those to my kid and keep the new ones. While the new ones are, of course, new and shiny, and while I do like the fairly vertical sides and relatively wide bottoms, I still prefer the old ones. In comparison the ones we got from Walmart seem very thin and lightweight to an extent that I can't imagine they'd hold up well enough to get handed down. Also the two smallest bowls are ridiculously small. Maybe they'd be usable for meze en place for recipe prep but certainly not as actual mixing bowls. The smallest is so tiny that I can't imagine using it to even beat a single egg.

I ordered 2 sets of these bowls one set close down really well but the red set doesn't close down at all so I'm not using the tops.

I just love love love my mixing bowls. All my appliance are stainless steel so they go prefect with the other bowls. I love the tops because I can sit them on top of each other. Beautiful set and very convenient.
