Easy to install

Easy installation, sturdy.

I have a gate that weighs 140lb, when installed first week it worked fine. After the first week it started to sink. Made some adjustments, it worked for another week. After that, it started to sink again. The weight rating states 150 lbs. It doesn't support 140 lbs. How can that rating statement be made. I don't recommend this gate hinge. It sucks!

Easy to install on my Wood fences and Gates. My gate doors weigh approximately 65lbs so I needed to increase the tension on the springs. Once I figured that out it was smooth sailing.

Strong build

I liked it's design so I installed it on a wooden gate. Quality product. I have a few suggestions for wood install. I bolted the hinges through the 4x4 gate post.

Well built high quality product

Boerboel products in my opinion are above average and built well. This hinge is really nice and offers several variations in adjustment. The self close feature is really nice and can have the speed and strength of closure adjusted. My only gripe is, the Phillips head self taping screws that came with the set had to be replaced with hex head self taping screws. The screwdriver would not seat properly in the head thus not allowing me to drive them into aluminium with out stripping the heads, even by hand..
