[Rewarded Review] Warm and fluffy

I will forever be perplexed by items that come vacuum sealed in impossibly small boxes, tightly rolled up. Once I cut into the packaging it immediately started fluffing up and went from “flat and crispy” to fluffy and crispy. It feels like a cloud trapped in a hotel sheet Super warm. Great for kids to make a nest in.

OK Comforter

I ordered this because it said it was a heavy down comforter. It's really no warmer than my lightweight down comforter. It is made well. But because it's not all down, there are on feathers in there and they are pokey. Overall, it's just an okay comforter.

I liked how warm this comforter is, especially since winter is around the corner. It’s not super heavy or fluffy but it gets the job done! I like that it has feather/down filling instead of that alternative filling. I wish the cover was cotton or a blend of cotton because I think it feels better if you don’t have a cover and I think it moves less in a cover as well when it’s cotton. Other than that, I think it’s overall a solid addition to my bedding set.

It’s very comfortable and warm. It’s very fluffy and cozy. It fit queen size pretty well. The material is very quality. After washing it very soft.

I like this! I love how crisp the fabric is. It feels cool but the internal feathers keep you super warm. Definitely feels like a hotel bed. I don’t love how you can feel the feathers but with an added duvet on top, I don’t notice those as much.

It feel like plastic and you can feel the goose feathers through the blanket.

Smells terrible just like wet dogs were wrapped in

It would be no stars. I bought this for my son’s birthday. He brought into his room and then shortly later said Mom this has a terrible smell. Like a wet dog. I was hoping it was just a new product smell and washed it. The wet dog smell was still there and his sister who has a bedroom next to him said the smell was so bad she could smell from her room. It honestly smells like a used comforter that had a wet dog or dogs and they rewrapped it and sent to a customer as a new item. Terrible.

It’s great, especially for the price. I got it when there was a good coupon. I bought my father one and after seeing the quality I ordered one for myself. I bought a cheap cover on Amazon and my husband said it feels like we are sleeping at a hotel now. I agree.

Horrible Wet Dog Smell

Ive ordered multiple down comforters from Kohls over the years, never run into this problem. This comforter smells TERRIBLE. My son, “I can’t keep this in my room, it smells”. He left it in the living room and it literally stunk up the whole space. There must be a fungus in this batch of feathers. All the other reviews looked great, I’m so bummed! I tried drying it on high heat, twice. Just smells like hot wet dog now. 😭

Honestly i love this comforter! I washed and dried it when it came and it’s fluffy and cool to touch with the warmer weather coming. It is thinner but i that is what i wanted. I chose this one specifically because you can wash it. All the other ones i saw were dry clean only. So would definitely recommend!
