[Rewarded Review] Strong odor ruined the potential coziness

Was super excited to receive the Heavy Warmth Comforter in full/queen, True North by Sleep Philosophy. It arrived vacuumed sealed in a cute cylindrical tote.

[Rewarded Review] Thinner than I thought it would be

This comforter will provide some good warth but it's much thinner than I had imagined. I expected it to be very thick and fluffy. You can see the feathers in it as well. You'll need a duvet for it to hide that. I think it makes a good transitional weight comforter, giving you use in the spring and summer. You could use it during the winter but again you'll want to add a duvet.

Pokey!

The feathers in this comforter are pokey. I would not recommend. They will poke you through the fabric. It’s fluffy but not soft like other down comforters I’ve had. It must have been cheaply made.

[Rewarded Review] Light comforter

This is a bit lighter than I thought it would be. It is compressed inside the package so you really have to fluff it up a lot to make it more fluffy. It wasn’t overly hot or heavy which is why I gave it 4 stars I was expecting it be be a bit more heavy. I would also put a duvet on top of it since it is very plain. It is a great base layer to have on the bed and I’m glad I was able to try it for free. I have seen others that seem a bit more heavy and fluffy.

Amazing comforter

I've been waiting to purchase an a goose feather and down comforter ever since I slept under one at a relatives house. This did not disappoint. What a wonderful purchase. I was able to discard the heavy comforter that I was using previously to keep me warm for this comforter. It's lightweight and yet super warm. It is plenty big enough for my king size bed so there is no tugging to pull in up at night. Thank you so much for making and selling such and amazing product. The price was tremendously great as well.

Square design comforter

This comforter doesn’t have a rating for temperature ie Midwest winter which would be helpful. The combining of Full size and Queen size makes choosing a duvet awkward; selecting a King size will allow for smoother look. Putting this comforter into a full/queen duvet might look odd. The entire process is an ordeal and rethinking an item undesirable.

We’ve been sleeping with a cheap polyester comforter for too long I just couldn’t take it anymore.

[Rewarded Review] Warm and fluffy

I will forever be perplexed by items that come vacuum sealed in impossibly small boxes, tightly rolled up. Once I cut into the packaging it immediately started fluffing up and went from “flat and crispy” to fluffy and crispy. It feels like a cloud trapped in a hotel sheet Super warm. Great for kids to make a nest in.

OK Comforter

I ordered this because it said it was a heavy down comforter. It's really no warmer than my lightweight down comforter. It is made well. But because it's not all down, there are on feathers in there and they are pokey. Overall, it's just an okay comforter.

I liked how warm this comforter is, especially since winter is around the corner. It’s not super heavy or fluffy but it gets the job done! I like that it has feather/down filling instead of that alternative filling. I wish the cover was cotton or a blend of cotton because I think it feels better if you don’t have a cover and I think it moves less in a cover as well when it’s cotton. Other than that, I think it’s overall a solid addition to my bedding set.

It’s very comfortable and warm. It’s very fluffy and cozy. It fit queen size pretty well. The material is very quality. After washing it very soft.

It feel like plastic and you can feel the goose feathers through the blanket.

Smells terrible just like wet dogs were wrapped in

It would be no stars. I bought this for my son’s birthday. He brought into his room and then shortly later said Mom this has a terrible smell. Like a wet dog. I was hoping it was just a new product smell and washed it. The wet dog smell was still there and his sister who has a bedroom next to him said the smell was so bad she could smell from her room. It honestly smells like a used comforter that had a wet dog or dogs and they rewrapped it and sent to a customer as a new item. Terrible.

It’s great, especially for the price. I got it when there was a good coupon. I bought my father one and after seeing the quality I ordered one for myself. I bought a cheap cover on Amazon and my husband said it feels like we are sleeping at a hotel now. I agree.

Horrible Wet Dog Smell

Ive ordered multiple down comforters from Kohls over the years, never run into this problem. This comforter smells TERRIBLE. My son, “I can’t keep this in my room, it smells”. He left it in the living room and it literally stunk up the whole space. There must be a fungus in this batch of feathers. All the other reviews looked great, I’m so bummed! I tried drying it on high heat, twice. Just smells like hot wet dog now. 😭
