I bought this for the detail it involved and also the remark of previous buyer regarding the color. It is not emerald. It is a beautiful shade of teal, which is perfect for me. The ottoman is extremely firm, more like a table than something soft to rest your feet. Teal color of velvet is perfect for me. Bottom line, this is no way Emerald.
