Modern look large farmhouse light
This light has a great look for a rustic or farmhouse style home. It's looks bigger then I expected and could be a great piece in an open area or when you have large or tall spaces. I did have a missing piece that did not come with the light which is disappointing but the way I wanted to hang the light without the chain (which you are able to use to adjust the height) worked out fine. It's has simple but effective directions for installation and was easy to install although I have a good amount of experience in install light fixtures. I do think one light bulb might not be enough light for some spaces as it is rated for 60W but it depends on how much light you need or how high you have it hung. I like that is will be easy to keep clean as well as it is metal with an easy to dust surface.
High Quality Light, But With a Caveat
Pros: The light was packed well and it arrived without dents or scratches. The instructions were clear but pretty minimal. The light's shade is made out of bronze and it is quite striking. Installation wasn't too bad. It took me 70 minutes from start to finish. It looks great installed. Cons: It was missing a piece but it wasn't a problem because I didn't use the chain during the install. Since the shade is bronze the light is very focused out of the bottom and there's no light diffusion on the sides. My wife says it reminds her of a light over a blackjack table. It comes with a bulb, but I bought an LED Edison bulb that looks nice and completes the look. Summary: Overall, it's a really high-quality light that looks great, but the light it throws off is very downward focused.
