Some nicks, dents but was fine for our dining room. Chairs are light and heavy duty! At our gatherings at our house, guests tend to rock the old dining chairs on their back legs which significantly loosened most of the joints making them unsafe. These are commercial chairs (I have seen them in several restaurants in the past few months) and should stand up well in the future. Price was definitely reasonable. Would order again.

I am very pleased with this chair. I had concerns ordering a chair without sitting in it first, but it's very comfortable. It's perfect as a "perch" for those stopping by my home office. . . The Mahogany is a bit more red than in the on-line picture, but it works in the room. And the wood is lovely.

Very happy with these chairs. Bought 4 previously from another source and have had difficulty finding more. These match our original ones very well. They came in excellent condition and were easy for my husband to assemble.

Chair itself is sturdy and a good choice. My only complaint is that they furnished the wrong screws to attach the seat with. They were too short and the heads were to big for the predrilled holes. Had to furnish my own screws to complete assembly.

No hardware. Unbelievable!

Bought FOUR of these seats and not a single one came with the hardware to attach the seat . Ridiculous. I hate returning things online.

2 kitchen chairs

I liked these chairs because in the description it said they could hold up to 800 lbs in I have or my grand children have some large friends. Not 800 lbs large but larger than I expect to be sitting on my chairs. First of all when I opened the box and saw the cushions one was damaged I called customer service and they said return the chair to the store for a replacement. I thought before I do that I need to check out both chairs so I took both chairs out of the box. The chairs were ok but they look so much smaller than any chair that I have it maybe that the back is short but they look more like chairs for a dollhouse than for a family kitchen.

These are very comfortable and seem sturdy. They come assembled, just need to add the seat, so that was convenient. Fast shipping. The cherry finish is more orange than we expected. Two of the 4 chairs had problems - one has a leg a bit too short, the other was missing the slider. We were able to fix, but it was frustrating that we had to. Overall, we're happy with the purchase.

Good chair but.....

Was delivered in a large box. Seat isn't connected to base. No packaging in the box, so seat is free to bounce around and can cause damage. The damage to my chair was minimal, just a couple of gouges in the seats edges. I touched that up. I only purchased one chair. May be packaged differently if purchasing more chairs. Also came with no screws, and the seat will have to be drilled to fasten to the base. No pre-drilled holes. Color was much redder than pictured. Worked out for me. Construction was solid. Finish was okay.

great chairs

I work for an organization that supports individuals with disabilities and we have many homes that need to be furnished. Chairs that come with dining sets never last. I purchase these ALL the time and they really hold up. I have noticed that many restaurants also use this type of chair. Once in a while you may get one that comes in damaged. That is the only problem.

This product fit the bill for us

We have a dining room set that was passed down to us from my father-in-law. The table seats 8, but we only had 5 chairs. I didn't want to buy a whole new set when we already had a great table.
