excellent quality rug

The runner came promptly and in good condition. It is clearly a high-quality rug, 100% wool and nice and thick and soft. It lays nicely on the floor without curling, and pretty much stays put without anything under it.

The color is supposed to be RED and Black.

The RED was a pink / rose color NOT RED.Even though it is sold by Walmart, it is another company who is selling it.Beware that you only are buying from Walmart.

Nice rug

I bought this rug based on the photo of it in the living room on the website. I wanted a rug with “red”. The rug I got is much more muted than the photo. The red color is not a true red as pictured online. Depending on the light, I would say it’s more of a brick red that borders on pink. It is a blue red color and not an orangey red. We do like the rug and plan to keep it. It’s just different than what is pictured.

Great Value

I have these rugs throughout my home and they last for years! The last large one that I had was very durable. I finally replaced it because it thinned out around the edges and the corners started to fray a bit. That was over 15 years that I had it, though. I was so overjoyed that I could still get the same rug!

This is one of my favorite rugs! It adds color on my dark floors, while protecting them from moisture in the kitchen. Love it!!

Dramatic and “pet approved”

The rug arrived VERY well packaged. Cardboard protected the ends/ edges and the plastic was heavy and well sealed. Upon unrolling MANY little packets to prevent moisture were “discovered”. I expect shedding with this type wool rug- and sadly the “black ground “( which I wanted) shows MUCH lint and the shed of the other colors… hoping this will lessen in time. I chose a quality pad and the rug is soft and thick.The rich red/ burgundy is perfect with my planked wall color and the square size( not too common) was also a strong selling point for my small living area. My dogs LUV stretching out on, and there has been no issue with any “odor”

This rug is absolutley beautiful. Love the black and red colors. Goes great in my red decor bathroom. So thick and very soft on your feet. You will not be disapointed.

This rug is very beautiful. The only discrepancy is that it's way more red than the pictures show. I expected it to be a bit more of a brownish red. It's a nice thick pile and you can tell it's a quality rug. It sheds but all my good rugs have for a while. This rug has a nice classy look and it can compliment a high Victorian or even a shabby chic look.

These rugs are so nice. My neighbors loved them so much that they bought one for their living room. They are striking. Great quality, thick pile and vibrant colors.

Excellent rug for medium-traffic area

This rug has held up well in a medium-traffic room. This was the first time I had purchased a Safavieh rug, and I liked it so much that I have purchased another Safavieh rug for another room. The rug compares very well to other much more expensive rugs that I have purchased in the past. It arrived early and was left at my front door. Overstocks makes it so easy for delivery.

Torrie handmade wool rug

Beautiful Safavieh Handmade Heritage Torrie Traditional Oriental Wool Rug. I got this rug for our home office, the room isn't done yet but the rug looks great! I love the quality of Safavieh's carpets. I have never been disappointed with any of the Safavieh rugs I've purchased over the past 13 yrs.

Nice rug, but not a fit for my space

This seems to be a pretty nice wool rug. I thought I could replace my 8 x 10 dining room rug with this one that is a few inches smaller, but it did not work at all for my space. I thought the photos online looked a little better than the actual rug looked in person, but overall, it is a nice looking rug.

Quality Rug

I recently retiled my foyer and needed a rug to go on the black and white checkerboard floor. I ended up ordering 4 different ones and easily narrowed it down to this one. Not only does it have some weight to it, but I didn't even need to wait for any area of it to flatten out. It is also pretty cushy, so no need for a pad underneath. And with the weight of it, I don't even need a gripper under it to keep it from sliding around on us. I am so happy with this purchase!

Vibrantly colored thick and luxurious wool rug

This rug really ties the room together and matches perfectly with my new hardwood floors. The colors are vibrant and traditional and the rug feels thick and luxurious. I vacuumed it gently a couple of times as with any new wool rug. The quality is also good and I expect the black color in the background to remain true for many years to come. Some other than wool rugs don’t hold up well over the years but I imagine this one will. And my pet cat immediately went to it and rolled over on it loving it right away. Plus you cannot beat the price, as this one looks just as good as a Persian rug that cost $5000!

No Fringe and Poodle Approved

No Fringe! 😊 I ordered this rug to replace my previous Oriental rug because the fringe was looking dirty and frayed. The colors are not quite as vibrant as on the website. Also it measures 7'9" as opposed to 8'. It may still "stretch". Overall, very pleased with it. Plus, it was here the next day!!

Beautiful Colors & Good Quality Rug for the Price

This is the second Safavieh rug I've purchased. They are a great deal at this price point. They are well made thick wool oriental rugs. The only con is they shed initially, but after a few weeks of vacuuming this stops.

Stunning Colors and Great Quality

I have previously owned 2 other Safavieh rugs and loved the quality. Well, this purchase didn't disappoint in any way. Rug was well packaged, there were no defects upon inspection. The colors were stunning and vibrant. The "red" in the color description is more of a brick color. Once again, I'm so happy with this purchase. Thanks Overstock for great products with great prices!

Excellent quality

I bought this rug design in all different shapes and sizes. Runners, entry, super large area rug for my living room all of them were spectacular and have lasted years. it was so nice to be able to order rugs for all the rooms in my first floor and know that they would match. Quality was excellent.
