Grapefruit Candle

I have paired the Grapefruit candle fragrance with the Prosecco candle fragrance, and the two together work out very nicely. Since my living space is small, I don't want fragrances that overpower. I am happy with both candles.

Mixed Feelings

This is my first candle and the Grapefruit scent is amazing. I have it in a diffuser and will be including the room spray in my next order. AF does a great job of making sure that a scent remains true from product to product, and I was pleased to find that it is the same for this candle as well. My home has an open concept first floor and this is where I wanted to use the candle. After burning the candle for a couple of hours I realized it wouldn't work. I kept searching for the scent. I tried burning the candle in a bedroom with much better results. I still wasn't registering any scent until I re-entered the room. The soft, grapefruit scent was there. On its own, this candle (and I suspect others as well) gives off a subtle concentration of scent. One candle would be perfect for a bedroom. A larger area would need some layering with other products. This would make a wonderful gift. The glass container could easily be used for something else when the candle is finished. The book of matches is a nice touch, and the box is beautiful, sturdy with a magnetic closure. And that's the problem with this product. The box is too pretty to throw away, and I can't readily come up with an idea of what to use it for. :-) Four stars only because it didn't fit my original plans of burning it downstairs.

Unless you are standing near it.....forget it.

I truly love Antica merchandise, however I am not impressed with their candles. A shame....
