The filters are a little long and need to be cut but I expected that. They went into my essic m0800 machine fine after I cut them with a regular scissors. Somebody had suggested connecting them at the top so I used a thread and sort of tied them together and that did make it easier to get the top back on.

I have been looking for the replacement filter for my old Kenmore "Quiet Comfort" humidifier. Thankfully you provided measurements of your filter and I was able to match those measurements to a perfect fit with no cutting. Being able to humidify the house has been a GODsend, Thank you.

They serve their purpose, but not as good as the original ones I previsously purchased from another vendor for the last 12 years, but they have recently closed.

I only replaced these a week ago so I don't know how durable they are, but unlike the original filter for my AirCare, they don't smell of wet newspaper. That's a huge plus for me. They function well.

Genuine Air Care Filter will last 4-6 weeks. The price is more expensive than after market but worth the moeny. Plus it is convenient to buy from CT.

Good filter, the bonus being its made in North America. (USA) ...at least for now. Since these these are rather expensive for a filter, I'd recommend using a water conditioner to stretch them out as long as possible. (it will more than cover the cost of the conditioner)

The replacement wick was fine. Exactly what I expected because I have bought them before. What I didn’t expect was the extremely poor service/help finding what I was looking for. This is not the first time that I’ve had this poor service from the Greenfield store associates on the floor. Many times they walk past and ignore you. This time I was given the wrong place to look and the person just walked away instead of looking harder or calling someone else. My checkout experience was excellent as always.

We are happy.

We are very happy with this unit. It brought the humidity level up very quickly and maintained it very well on the auto setting. We find it to be quite and the fan noise isn't that bothersome.

Decent OEM Replacement Value

Filters seem do seem a little short in circumference as replacements for MAF1, and I believe the measurement in the listing indirectly points that out as long as you are familiar with the true OEM measurements. However, they are still decent, and it helps that they are reinforced with some metal to avoid sagging.

Not long lasting if you have hard water.

I have been using this for 2-3 weeks and my unit is telling me to replace the filter already! It's a lot of money for something that only lasts that long! I have hard water, but this is ridiculous!

Filter is shorter in length

I just received the filter and at a glance, it appears to be the same as the name brand filter that came with my humidifier. When I installed the filter, I immediately noticed that it's not as long as the original filter. This one doesn't wrap all the way around. Not sure if that makes a difference, but since the air is forced through the filter, there's about a 3 inch gap since the filter doesn't wrap all the way around.

I was sent the wrong filters. What I needed were the open-end kind. What I received were the cylinder kind. I had to clip the bottom so the filter would fit in the slots and the filter is too tall. I'm going to have to try to cut the top down so the fan speed can be regulated.

The MAF-1 Replacement Wick is the recommended replacement wick for the AIRCARE MA1201 Evaporative Console Humidifier. Usually the wick is replaced twice each year. It is quite thick, and disperses water through it. Using the recommended Essick Humidifier Bacteriostatic Treatment does not stop the wick from building up a crust which necessitates buying a new wick. Nonetheless, the MAF-1 Replacement Wick, along with the MA1201 Humidifer was an excellent decision. I highly encourage the purchase.
