Filter replacement

I live in Monterey, CA. When I gained access to the pre-filters, I was appalled at the dirty state of the sediment filter. I am very glad to have the APEC reverse osmosis system. I was so appalled that I took the filters to the CalAm water office to show them how dirty they were. They didn't take responsibility for the state of the water and blamed me for not changing the filters more often!

These filters always do a great job. Also, when FedEx lost my package by delivering to the wrong location, APEC came though and sent a new one.

Well, after installing the new filters my RO system worked for about 3 to 4 days and now no water output.

the filters are great! but ordering them was difficult. I'm used to calling and they pull up my account and order my filter set every spring in March. This March it wasn't easy I had to go through a lot of red tape for the agent to order my filters. I will be calling next March and have to order the top filter which is only ordered every 5 years. I hope the system is better by then. We had the say Apec system installed in our new house as the old house we lived in for 17 years as we like the result.

You changed something and I am seeing a lot more particles in my water now. Also, I did not need to change my filters so soon, so this was a waste of money.

Filters work great. A bigger help was phone help after my water flow problem. I was told my tank was out of date so I replaced it and now my RO system works great.

Works Great

I love my RO system. Just wish I had mounted the filter bracket in a way that makes it easier to remove the filters. Mine just sits on the floor under the kitchen sink.

The whole system, including these replacement filters, is excellent. Pre-filter, carbon, and reverse osmosis is the best for purification. The overall system cost and replacement filters are economical. I was able to install it myself. The system is easy to assemble, but the interface to my sink took some effort (drilling a hole thru stainless steel). Also, don't over/under tighten the connections with o-rings. Filters are easy to replace. The water tastes great. We use maybe 2 gals/day for drinks and cooking. Speed of water production meets our need. I've had the system 3 years now. Would buy again.
