We purchased the night tables with the companion dresser and they balance and complement each other well in the room. The curvature of the night table gives them a visual interest. The top drawer is not as deep as I expected, due to the integration of an outlet hidden in the back. This adaptation to the old style doesn't interfere in anyway with the beauty of the piece and provides convenience for electronics. Overall, very happy with the furniture and see it being a timeless piece.

This is a fantastic Nightstand. It is extremely well made (which everything from hooker is). I have a hooker desk and bookshelves. My delivery guys brought up the wrong nightstand too my door. When they went back to the truck to get mine, they remarked on how heavy it was and that the other brand felt so light and cheap. This has a light under it that you can turn on/off from the back side by touching a piece of metal. It's a neat feature, but I'm not sure how much I'll use it as I have a light on my stand. It has three levels of brightness and it only goes on the floor so you don't run into it at night. It's also not going to wake your partner if you get up at night. The drawers aren't as deep as my old stand but it's a wide nightstand compared to many others. Having the built in USB and 3 outlet power strip are just what I needed to not have any cables hanging over the side. I just love it and I may be buying the matching chest soon as the quality cannot be understated.
