Totally worth the money!

I purchased three bookcases. They were very easy for me to assemble by myself. The deep dark color really fits the color scheme in the living room. Each shelf holds 20 lbs each. I was able to put my vases with flowers on the very top of the cases along with pictures in frames.

Only one negative

Great product. However, packaging comes with a ton of unnecessary dust. Everything must be cleaned before assembly. Not a fun job for someone with dust allergies.

Nice shelves!

These are nice shelves. They're sturdy and were easy to assemble. The only thing I don't like, and missed in the description, is the shelves are fixed - they cannot be adjusted. However, they do look nice with the consistent size of each section.

Basic Sturdy Shelf

The shelf unit was exactly what I was looking for and looked just like the photos once assembled. Assembly wasn't too bad, typical for this type of furniture. Overall, it is a good value

Just what I needed. Right size. The unit was easy to assemble. I got it set up the day I received it and it is perfect size for the files I bought it for. Shipping was very good and no damage as it was packed very well.

Fine for what it is.

Not fine furniture, but serviceable. Doesn’t clash with other furniture, just blends into the background.

I would buy again.

Needed smaller shelf for closet. The assembly was a little different than bookcases I've assembled before but it worked out well. Instructions, as always, are not the best.

Quickly shipped, assembled easily, fairly sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, very reasonably priced. Not the highest quality, but it's serving its intended purpose as a standalone unit in a walk-in closet.

Just perfect furniture

OMG, this was the easiest cabinet that I put together, and I'm disabled. It was just the right height too. I will admit that if you don't have a stirdy ground, then I would use those wall mounts, because it does seem to be a little flimsy. But all in all, it is perfect furniture.

Wooden Bookshelf

Arrived early and packaged well ensuring perfect condition on arrival. Heavy wood and wide shelves, which seems to make the shelf sturdier. I am very pleased with this purchase. I also appreciate the height of the %234 shelves. Just the right size. Thanks!

free standing shelves

they are sturdy, fairly easy to assemble. met my needs well. i bought 2 and would by more if i had space.

Barely worth it

I bought 2 at the same time. They were inconvenient shipped and arrived on 2 separate dates, making that a hassle for me because I live in an apartment building and packages can't be left out in the street. The first one arrived just fine. The second arrived broken. Others have said the same. So clearly the packaging for these bookcases is not adequate. I contacted the manufacturer and that turned out to be a waste of my time. I then contacted Walmart and they set up a return and I had to order another one. I also blame Fedex for the poor handling of my item. I'm pretty sure that they threw it over the gate. Besides all that, the yellow screws are obvious and do look pretty unappealing from the side so the images on the site are false advertisement.

Don't Buy this Book shelf.

This item was delivered with dented shelves and knicked side panels. Very disappointing. I guess this is why amazon won't carry this version of the bookshelf.

Condition upon arrival was extremely poor.

I rarely buy new furniture but decided to since this seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. The size and style was perfect, however when it arrived (3 day after it was supposed to), it was not so good. When I first took it out of the box I noticed the edge of a few of the shelves seemed worn. I immediately felt like it had been returned. I continued to pull all the parts out and there was a major chip out of one part, one corner also had a chip and one side panel had a pretty serious gouge. I went ahead and put it together and it is working out fine, however, I will never buy a piece of furniture from Walmart again. It is literally a piece of crap. I would have returned it but it was too hard to deal with.

Awful quality

Two shelves had absolutely no laminate on it. So upsetting. Had to keep so very very unhappy. May try to stain the shelves so it's not so blatantly obvious this is garbage.

Miss matched crap

I will NEVER buy another one from them again! I ordered one and the bookcase came with mix match pieces!!! I returned it only for them to NOT give me a full refund for their mess up! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I will NEVER buy anything else from them again!

Damaged

The color is perfect and assembling it was easy. My issue is one of the side panels came damaged. I don't want to disassemble it in order to return it. This is the reason I only gave it 3 stars.

Not worth ordering.

I didn't expect top quality but this is very cheaply made. Not really a book case because it has square openings like modular fit. I bought Better homes and garden ones that are much nicer.
