Beautiful; instructions a little vague

The product is great, and good, solid quality and looks beautiful. They roll very nicely & quietly. The instructions could be better, and the pictures could be bigger. We found when putting on the “L” anti-jump brackets on the bent hangars, the bolt, washer & nut needed to be put on backwards from what the picture showed or else they hit the bolts holding the rail up. We have installed others so already had an idea of what needed to be done, otherwise the instructions may have been more confusing.

Pretty good design and product overall.

Very useful and easy to install. I believe can have a modification or at least be built with different sizes option. The hangers that hold the doors, both but specially the one for the outside door, are too wide making the gap between the doors and between the door and the wall too large. The outside door hanger could be made of different sizes for different door thickness. My doors are 1 1/2" thick and the outside hanger is 3" wide and once you hang the doors the gap is substantial and doesn't look good. I fixed this gap by adding a piece of wood (3/4") between the door and the hanger in order to increase the thickness of the door and that corrected the gap decently but I'm planning to add another piece of 3/4" to make both doors closer. I also added a piece of wood to the interior door (same as the exterior) and it made the door get closer to the wall, reducing the gap.

While I have not completely installed it yet, it appears to be a solid product. The installation document is a little confusing but watching Homacer's video makes it easier to grasp. I'm building my own barn doors!

I purchased a double bypass kit for 4 doors on one track. It shipped quickly and arrived just as fast. Instructions were simple enough for 2 people who had never installed a sliding barn door before. I’ll be ordering another one for a set of closet doors soon.

[Rewarded Review] Much heavier duty than needed.

I am very pleased with this hardware. It is all really heavy duty and I am confident that it will last a very long time. The challenge I am facing is because the peculiar situation I am finding. The rail is about 5 ½ feet long and the two openings together are about 7 feet. Fortunately I can buy some metal the same size and weld it on to the end of the rail, drill a couple holes for the wall attach hardware and It will work just fine. The rail is really heavy steel which will be easy to weld, grind and finish and black is easy to match!

I really like this kit. Super easy to install, with very detailed instructions. only need basic skills. We are redoing the kitchen and I'm really not to the stage for this, but I wanted to install to check it out. Very happy!

Love it!

Track was fairly easy to install and my project looks great! Not sure why there are two holes at the end of each rail. One I can cover up with the stopper, but the other one I can’t because of where I needed to place the bottom rail guard in at. I used Sugru to plug the holes though and they look great!

Very well written installation manual makes for an easy quick install.

The quality, fit, and finish of the hardware is excellent. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. I would have given your Hardware Kit 5 stars if the stinking bolts for the roller brackets weren't too dam long! They are 1/2 inch too long for your standard barn door thickness. Had had to go out and purchase shorter bolts and paint them.
