Reemplacé un viejo archivador metálico por este y me ha gustado mucho. Su diseño en madera es mucho más orgánico y ¡su espacio de almacenamiento es mucho mejor! Eso fue una grata sorpresa. Solo me molestó el proceso de armado que, dado el detalle, me tomó mucho tiempo.

Beautiful and very practical

I ordered 3 filing cabinets. Once I figured out how to assemble the drawer slides on the first one, I finished the other 2 very quickly. I loved how they turned out. (I waited to put the lock and knobs on until the end, because I was going to paint them gold, but now I can’t get the locks on without taking the whole drawer apart. So if you’re going to paint, paint before you put together).

Not what I hoped

The rods don't hold the weight of many files. The lock keeps you from having files in that space. It wasn't what I expected.

You get what you pay for.

The longer rods that you hang the files from are too weak. It shows you can line up the files sideways and fill up a whole drawer. After adding about half of the files the metal rods started to bow. It's better to line them up in two rows front to back, but they don't provide you enough of the shorter metal rods to do so. If you use the plastic tabs that attached to the top of the file folders to label them, they are to tall for the drawers and will rub when you open and shut the drawers.
