If you are looking for a great cart this is it!

I'm not one who normally writes reviews. I can't say enough about the quality of and the ease of putting this cart together. First of all, it's made in Thailand, not China, which is a real plus! The manufacturer of this cart is to be commended on everything from packaging to quality, fitment of the parts, and well done instructions. Once completed this cart looks very good, and I'm a very happy camper. I think you would be happy too.

Construction is solid. Stainless steel top is heavy and sturdy. Plenty of storage space in the shelves. Was easy to assemble. Has only 2 locking wheels, but there have been no issues with unwanted movement.

The drawers were a little bit difficult because the instructions weren’t completely clear but the rest of it was pretty straightforward. I did it alone. The stainless steel scratches very very very easily, like if you put a can of soda on it, it scratches it. I don’t mind that but others might.

Gorgeous Kitchen Cart

My husband and I put this cart together in a couple hours today. As previously mentioned by many reviewers, it was meticulously packaged and labeled with extras of every type of screw and bolt. The finished product is a sizeable piece of kitchen furniture!! I am using the middle shelf as a wine rack with cookbooks on the bottom shelf. It is the most versatile piece of furniture I own!

I would definitely buy this island again

I have limited counter space and this island works really well for me. I like the idea that it has wheels and I can push it out of the way if necessary. It is very heavy and my husband and I put it together in 2 1/2 hours with no problems. The stainless top is very nice and cleans well. I love this island and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Every piece was labeled which was extremely helpful.

I was amazed at the quality and design of the materials that make up this kitchen cart. I was expecting lighter weight wood, mismatched pre-drilled holes, missing parts/hardware etc. I am really impressed with it, given its reasonable price. Nicely done. It was relatively easy to assemble, though after inadvertently assembling the cart frame with the drawer divider piece upside down, I was forced to do some major disassembling before I could correct my mistake. That part wasn't fun. But the directions were remarkably easy to follow, and I had little trouble managing assembly by myself. A previous reviewer was right on the money when he suggested leaving the wheels off until the end. I also found it easier to assemble the cart upside down, then righting it when finished. The end result is a VERY solid, and relatively heavy piece which adds to my kitchen needs nicely. One thing I added myself was eight tiny rubber stick-on bumpers to the inside of the drawer faces. This prevents the rather annoying wood-on-wood slamming sound when closing the drawers. Problem solved! Also, if you lock the wheels and adjust them so they're perpendicular to the direction of the drawer movement, the cart hardly moves at all when opening/closing drawers! All in all, I am VERY satisfied with this purchase!

Utility Cart

I was very pleased with the solid wood on this item. It looks beautiful . It was fairly easy to put together, however I wish the drawer detail had been detailed more. I actually turned the fronts around which meant I had to re-assemble both drawers.

Just what I needed!

I needed extra counter space for holiday preparation and it delivered. I also use the shelving for cookbooks and my oversized wok and crockpot. I am extremely happy with my purchase. It's sturdy, easy to maneuver when the wheels are unlocked and looks beautiful. It fits perfectly in the corner and adds to the look of the kitchen. Great piece.

LOVE This Island!

We have a small kitchen and I always thought an island was out for us, but when my neighbor said she was getting one, I thought maybe the kitchen isn't that small. Yes, we were skeptical, but after reading previous reviews about this one, we knew this was the one we wanted.....not too big, and different from most others, on wheels, and with it's own "character". It was relatively easy to assemble for my handy husband, and it only took a couple or three hours. It is very sturdy, the stainless top is very pretty and very sturdy, also. I love the slatted shelf, and the fact that we can move it if we need to, and it has two good size drawers which we really needed. We are very happy with this island/cart.

Cheap All Around

Having read the numerous reviews for this it is hard to understand how some folks loved it while others hated it. My experience has been less than stellar because the top came damaged and I am currently waiting on the replacement top to arrive. The bottom portion is alright, though it has more finish on it than I wanted and there were fiberglass hairs all over it.

Nice Touch

Easy to assemble, however the wood screw cover plugs require glue to stay in, otherwise you will be picking them up off the floor for several days. Good looking product and makes a great mobile island for the kitchen. We eliminated a stationary island to give us more room for entertaining and this was a perfect solution. The stainless steel top is easy to clean and makes a great working surface. The shelves and drawers provide adequate storage and the cart rolls easily out of the way. Very glad we purchased it!

kitchen cart

This is just as described, Very good quality, real wood, not composite, and excellent stainless steel top. Lots of room to store appliances. Wheels large and it's easy to move about. It took my son to come over and put it together; I probably could not have done it myself, or so my son says! Some of the pieces were heavy and I could not get it into the house by myself, though my 50 year old son got it in by himself. The price was over $100.00 less than the very same product offered online. I am very pleased with this purchase, and wish I had found it much sooner.

Excellent Kitchen Cart

I purchased my cart nearly 2-years ago, and it still looks and functions great. The cart was easy to assemble and is very durable. I wanted the stainless steel top, but they were sold out at the time, so I went with natural wood top, which has not disappointed at all. The finish is great and occasional spills wipe off easily; I use it as a breakfast/coffee station, and it always gets compliments. Most do not believe the affordable price and several have gone on to purchase their own. You won't be disappointed if you decide to buy.

kitchen cart review

ok.... here we go. I read alot of reviews on this product both here and on amazon. I've come to learn to read the one star reviews on products i'm interested in, first, just to cut right through the carp and get down to the nitty gritty right off the bat. So here are what the one star reviews mostly addressed: "The top scratches easily; It takes a LONG time to assemble; The instructions are poorly written; It's not sturdy when completed; The holes don't line up; The fasteners either strip or pull through." NONE of these issues materialized for me. I had the basic frame up in about 15 minuts. It was very easy and i did it alone. The instructions are written well and all the holes lined up fine. Be carefull not to overtighten the fasteners everything will be fine. One reviewer suggested gluing all the joints with wood glue and i was close to doing just that but shelved the plan when it became apparent that this thing was going to be solid without the glue....and it is. There are clearly written notices ON THE BOX and in the instructions to be careful with the top so as not to scratch it. I have a cutting board sitting on top of it with rubber "feet" so i havn't had any issues with that yet, however the instructions suggest using flour and fine steel wool to brush out any scratches that may incure. Here's my biggest complaint for which i am removing a star. THE PACKING MATERIAL. Honestly, aren't we past styrofoam? When i unpact my table (and i would sugguest having a small vacuume handy) small fragmented pieces were everywhere! The worse part is that they're charged (static) and stick to everything which makes brushing them into a trash bin very difficult. THAT stuff was everywhere! I suggest when you unpack, do it very carfully so as to break up the packaging material as least as possible. Lay out all the parts, dust them off, and review your check list. Spend a good amount of time reading the two pages of directions. I did this in bed the night i received the table and assembled it the next day after work. The whole process of assembly took me about an hour, that includes putting together the drawers. I used the included allen wrench and my cordless driver (for the drawers). That's about it! It looks great in our small kitchen.....my wife loves it, and it creates a nice place for our kitchen aid 6qt mixer and our 9 cup food processor.

I am impressed with this!

For a piece of furniture that needs to be assembled this is a very high quality piece! Some other reviews have mentioned that this is difficult to assemble. I would have to disagree. It does take a while to unpack and put together but, with patience and about 3 hours later you have a high quality piece of furniture. I am a carpenter and have put a lot of assembled pieces together. I would have to say this is one of the highest quality pieces I have seen! You do have to follow the directions and use common sense, however, the end results are wonderful! You will not be unhappy with this purchase. I am pleasantly surprised! I can't say enough good about this cart!!!

Extremely pleased!

This cart was very easy to assemble; the manufacturer even put the tools in the assembly kit! I have a table that came from a big name manufacturer, and I paid a lot more for that table, with virtually no storage. This cart has the same sized drawers as my old table, with the addition of the two shelves and the towel holder. I just love the piece.

Beyond Expectations!

If I could give this Island a 10 star review I would. It is rare when I order anything online that exceeds my expectations but I must say this did! I looked at many Islands but this seemed to fit all of my needs, plus I love interior design and it looks beautiful in my kitchen. When I laid it out for assembly, I was blown away by the craftsmanship and the clearly marked instructions. A bonus was the high quality brushed stainless steel top matched my farm style apron sink. There is nothing flimsy about this cart. The drawers glide out easily and the construction of the Island is really solid. Although I put this together by myself, I would recommend another person there to help as the top is heavy. Every person that has walked into my kitchen comments on this Island. Beautiful quality and great craftsmanship. 10 stars from me! I am thrilled with this purchase. This is the first time I have ordered anything from this company but I will remember them.
