This chair is awesome!

So far it's perfect for my front porch! Looks so good and love the wooden top on the arms, nice and smooth so your arms have a place to lay and no roughness to scratch you.Very well made!

Great chair!

Really attractive rattan chair goes perfectly on the deck - can't wait for the weather to break to really start using it. Perfect for sitting around the firepit. The chair is made from a UV resistant synthetic rattan which should hold up well under the elements. The frame over which the rattan is woven is steel. Assembly is straight forward using hex head cap screws flat washers and lock washers. All screw sizes are the same so no confusion in sorting parts. A hex key is included for assembly, but you may be better served using a ball end allen key to make assembly go faster especially if you have sprung for several of these chairs. I like the solid acacia wood arms and again I expect these would hold up well. There is a note in the instructions to protect the cushions from direct sunlight so I am not sure how UV resistant these are. Not an issue for me as we store the cushions in a deck box especially if there is a threat of rain. I found the chair very comfortable with thick firm cushions. This Palm Springs Stationary Wicker Rattan Outdoor Lounge Chair with Tan Cushion by HOMESTYLES is very comfortable. I like it on my deck area during the warm days of spring. For now I'm using it as an for indoor or outdoor chair. Although it is built to withstand the elements it also fits just fine in my sun room as additional seating.The cushions deliver a very comfortable experience and the covers unzip to clean. Beautiful Chair...But....

This chair could win awards for its great looks. Comfort not so much. It's a big block of a chair in black and white. It has nice wooden arms, big enough to hold your beverage or your phone, made of naturally beautiful acacia wood. The seat cushion is big,hard, and it's thick. It holds you up high when seated. The backrest is almost at a 90 degree angle and it is short so you are forced to sit bolt upright. Some chairs you sit IN, they wrap you in comfort. Other chairs you sit on. This is one you sit on. The white cushions are wrapped with plastic. We left the plastic on for now but I wonder how long until they neutralize to gray or beige? This chair could be utilized by a manipulative person. You could seat job applicants in it to keep them from getting too comfortable. If someone came over and you didn't want them to stay too long you could offer them this chair to sit in. A manager could put this chair in front of her desk as a power move when co-workers came to the office for discussions. Buy it for your night security to use, no snoozing in this chair. It's preferable to standing is the best I can say about this chair's comfort level. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were good as they told you to insert the screws and tighten them halfway. When all were attached was the time to tighten them down. An interesting note is that the instructions cautioned one to use a power tool no more than 8 volts in power to assemble the chair. I found a ratchet wrench with a 4mm Allen socket attachment invaluable for assembly. The screws are oriented in a way that a drill/driver doesn't have the clearance for the job. Just ok...

If you're looking for a really comfortable outdoor chair, this would not be your first choice. As another reviewer noted, the back feels pretty much straight up and down. The seat itself is flat and firm. The best I can say for this chair is that it doesn't feel like it's pushing you out, like some chairs I've gotten from HD and assembled. Assembly is fairly straightforward, though more than a little tedious, as all the screws (except the feet) have to be installed with a provided allen wrench by hand, no room for a drill driver. On my chair, one of the wooden arms looks worn and weathered compared to the other one. I'm noticing a similar thing on a couple of the other reviewers products. It looks like a flaw to me, but evidently the company doesn't think so, as I've heard nothing back from my customer service inquiry. You can be your own judge as far as whether you think it's a problem (see pics). It’s a decent looking chair, tho’ I think way overpriced at $515.84, and again, look elsewhere for real comfort. Less

Very comfortable lounge chair.

The chair was fairly easy to assemble, just one bolt had an issue to catch the thread but there was a spare so I used that to complete the assembly. Once completed, I thought it may be a little too low for easy seating but with the super thick cushion, it makes sitting and getting up easy. The cushions are really comfortable but the color is closer to white than tan. I also like the wood Finnish on the armrests as that allows for a level surface which is great for drinks etc.

Great outdoor chair

So I got this chair because I like Checking out this kind of stuff From Home Depot. From the picture it showed online I wasn’t sure how big the box was going to be bringing it. It turns out this is delivered in two boxes. One containing the cushions and the other ones containing the chair Parts. Neither one of the boxes are huge. The box containing the cushions is extremely lightweight I’d say about 10 to 15 pounds, since I don’t read kilograms. And the other box weighs about 50 pounds. Both of the boxes are packed very well, the body of the chair is a combination of metal wood and a vinyl plastic covering of some sort. It was packed very well and arrived undamaged. The cushions arrived wrapped in plastic and also undamaged this appears to be a very nice chair made from good quality parts home styles really hit a A+ with this one. Less

Well made with super thick cushions

This wicker outdoor chair came in 2 boxes and was easy to assemble (24 bolts) and took me about 45 minutes to put together because I took my time. There were 25 bolts included so don't get confused that you've missed a hole. The cushion covers unzip in case you want to wash them and the seat cushion is 6" thick. It was a little hard but I think it will become softer over time as people sit in the chair. You sit upright in this chair but I like that. I will probably get a wicker ottoman to put with this chair so it's more of a lounging seat. I really like the wooden arm rests on this chair. It makes it look nice enough to use inside your house as a side chair and the arms are a convenient place to set your drinks. Another great feature is that each corner leg is height adjustable up to about an inch. This chair is very sturdy, well made, heavy and I think it will last for years to come! Less

A very nice chair

I ordered one of these Palm Springs Wicker Rattan Outdoor Lounge Chairs. They are a very well made and good looking chair. What I like most is the large sitting area they have and the included tan super comfortable cushions. They are just a bit firm which makes them easy to sit on for long periods of time. They have a partial steel frame under them and claim to hold 250 lbs. It is very stable with no wobble at all. The cushions have zippers for inside access and little wood barrels fasten on the backside to weave through the wicker to hold the cushions in place. It is a well thought out chair for comfort and durability. The chair does require assembly with the included allen wrenches and screws. Assembly takes about a half hour but really is quite easy.

Not comfortable for lounging

These are attractive chairs but VERY uncomfortable for lounging. The backs are set at a right angle, which makes you sit upright. If you’re working on your posture, this is your chair! If you want to relax, you can’t really get comfy in this chair. It's a shame because the pillows and the overall look is great.
