[Rewarded Review] Love the app; great thermostats

We had Nest-e thermostats in our previous home, and assumed we would purchase the same in our new home. However, our new home had one of these, and we liked it so much, that we replaced the other thermostats with more of these. The app interface is very user-friendly. Great buy!

Very easy to install. I chose this item because it had just the right amount of technology for me. I can use my phone but also use the touchpad. The colors match my house colors and itnis very stylish.

Do not buy the cheaper product if possible.

Better product than the $50 one that the illumination light stopped working in little over a year. This one is just what I needed. So far so good. Lowes employee very helpful in Escondido. Thanks to Lowes!!

Smooth screen, works with resideo app wirelessly, nothing to complain about

My last T5 had the screen go out after about two years. I bought another. The other original is still working. I have three total with a possible for a 4th.

Canceled my contract provider and Replaced 2-T6 with the 2-T5 Smart WiFi. So happy.

Great Upgrade

Great upgrade from builder's (dumb) Honeywell Home "ProSeries" thermostat. Same base plate so no wiring to fiddle with; it just snaps right into the old base plate. A wee bit finicky setting up, but 100% afterwards. The adaptive/learning mode is cool... its basically an anticipator like old school, but fully electronic. After a week, the adaptation is almost complete. Keeps room within one degree of setpoint consistently. PLUS, I can access & program from cell phone... anywhere/anytime.

The customer service was excellent. The phone tech walked me through the instalation perfectly. But the heat wouldn't come on. I put the original thermostat back in and the heat and air fired right up. I'm returning the product to the home depot.

Never did find Alexa and now I'm stuck trying to find a solution to my new Wi-Fi when Att didn't mention I could rename everything with the same password. I'm livid but I can stream TV perhaps I'll delete every account wipe off every user name and password since the dawn of time and find my thermostat' again

It did not function properly.

I installed the thermostat, carefully following the instructions. After I set it up, the AC came on. I noticed it was blowing warm air when it should be blowing cool air. I went outside and the outside unit was blowing cool air when it should be blowing warm air. I turned the breaker off and started the installation over again to verify I installed it correctly. After I verified the installation, it would not come on at all. I reinstalled my old thermostat, and everything worked as it should. I thought a new, sleeker, and programmable thermostat would be nice to have, but I just wasted a few hours of my time.
