Great carpet cleaner!

This carpet cleaner works very well %26 is easy to operate. I love the separate tanks for clean and dirty water. I also appreciate the pre-treat wand sprayer. My only complaint is that I have to agree with other reviewers concerning the loudness during operation. It is considerably louder than my vacuum cleaner but if that is the price to pay for a great carpet cleaner then so be it! ;-)

Amazing would buy over and over again

This is my 3rd time buying it in the spam of the last 4 years because it does such an amazing job. Only problem im running into is i somehow keep breaking things lol i broke the thing that suctions the water and the first one just stopped working but i do have to say they definitely served me well because i have pets and kids running around the house.

Good but not great

The scrubbing action is good - but the suction is not great. the shark sucked up a lot more dirt - even after the hoover.

Don’t waste your money

The shampooer broke the second time we used it. Small plastic tabs broke off that held the head of the shampooer on.

Looks as pictured and had used someone's before and fell in love with it. The best part is how fast it dries after.

The machine is easy to use. I was a little tired from dumping the dirty water tank and refilling the clean water tank. I cleaned three bedrooms, and my wife said the carpet looks new. The solution seemed to run out quickly, but the result was worth it. The drying time was a few hours. Overall, I would definitely recommend this machine

Product is fine. Just found it for less on ebay.

Absolutely the best carpet cleaner I have ever bought. Worth every penny.

Hoover updated the Smartwash Pet Pro based on feedback from their clients. However, they did not offer them any replacement for their older models that could have been retrofitted and sent back at a cost of around 1/3 to 1/2 for their newer model. Instead Hoover simply believes that they get more money by people paying for new models and buying their formula for the rug cleaner. The majority of old units (75%) wind up being thrown into a garbage dump. Rather than being sent into to be recycled %26 refurbished to be used by others. Again, they could make more money by simply doing that because they already get perpetual income from their cleaning solution.

This shampooer vacuum is pretty good so far. I cleaned my house with it and could see all the dirt coming out.

Lasted a year before motor went bad.not worth the price if you have to replace every year I’d recommend another brand for the price of how long this last

Great Shampooer

Love thos shampoooer. Left carpet mostly dry and removed the stains without effort.

Poor quality, damaged after leaking!

The cleaning effect is good, but the handle function stopped working after one use, there was a leak in the machine during use, and the rear part sprayed liquid onto the feet. My machine made a strong noise after a year and stopped working.

Hoover carpet washer NOT received

Like everyone else who bought one this month, I never received my carpet washer machine. Seller (and Walmart) sent a FedEx tracking number but whatever the package was, FedEx delivered it to another address and it wasn't my carpet washer in the package. Yes, I have the FedEx proof of delivered to address and name of the person who signed for the package.

Upset with the product

I bought the 1st carpet cleaner and the plastic broke on the covering of the bristles returned the cleaner received my 2nd one and right out of the box i go to use it and it is STUCK in wash %26 dry mode BOTH the bristles will not turn what so ever. I have loved all Hoover products but this one has really disappointed me I'm tired of waiting with the turn around time as well for them to pick up and send another machine back it takes 2 weeks.
