Maternity Jeans

I bought these at 20 weeks pregnant since my normal jeans no longer feel comfortable around my waist. These are great since they sit below my below my bellow and the crop length is perfect since I am petite (5 foot 2 inches)

So comfortable. Absolutely obsessed. Much prefer underbelly to over belly maternity jeans!!

DIdn't Fit

I ended up ordering my pre-pregnancy size and a size up and the size up was still too tight. I'm 32 weeks pregnant, usually a 25/26 in Madewell jeans so I ordered a 26 and a 27 in these and I would have preferred to try a 28

favorite jeans

these jeans are buttery soft and so comfortable! the fit is perfect and make me feel so good about myself.

So glad I pulled the trigger

Last pregnancy, I never found reasonable maternity jeans I liked. This round, I’m so glad I pulled the trigger on these pricey jeans. They are worth every penny. So soft, the waistband stays up even early in the second trimester, and they look like jeans I would wear even if I wasn’t pregnant. So good!

Great Quality, but BUY YOUR NORMAL PRE-PREGNANCY SIZE!

Definitely ordered the wrong sizes, twice. Super frustrating as the measurements online didn’t work for me. I ended up returning both sizes. For reference, I am a size 25 pre-pregnancy. I have gained 10 lbs and am 17 weeks pregnant. I thought that due to the weight gain I would need at least one size up maybe two. Well, both the 26 and 27 were giant on me. I finally gave up and decided not to order anything else because I couldn’t figure out their sizing correctly. I will say the quality was superb, the legs a bit on the fitted side (so if you have thicker legs like I do, I would skip these jeans).

Cute, but Tight

The jeans are cute and had potential! I did order my usual pre pregnancy size, and while they fit they do feel a bit snug (31 weeks). I wish I sized up. But, I think these will come in handy postpartum!

Do not order - poor sizing

For context, I normally wear a size 28 jean. I ordered a size up for these (29), to give myself some extra space knowing I’m 30 weeks pregnant. The hatch jeans literally couldn’t go above my thighs. For comparison, I tried on my non-maternity size 28 mother jeans while pregnant - they fit perfectly except I can’t zip and close them (also 30 weeks pregnant). Still scratching my head as to how my non maternity jeans will pull up to my hips but maternity jeans in a larger size won’t go past my upper leg? Someone needs to help Hatch with their fit and sizing …

Sizing is off. And customer service is terrible

Runs very small. Be careful with the size you choose because if you try to return ( in store or online) it you will only be given a merchandise credit. You will have to email the company several times to actually receive it, and your shipping costs will be deducted. Much better quality at other websites. Shop somewhere else.

Pre and Post-Partum magic jeans

I wore these during pregnancy AND while I gave my body time to recover post-partum. There were months and months that I thought my new body was my new normal size but was hesitant to buy new jeans for it and having these jeans kept me sane during that time and kept me from buying a whole new closet in the (now) wrong size.

Not comfortable pregnant at all.

They aren’t the best maternity jeans around the belly. They dig into my stomach which is very uncomfortable pregnant. I can’t even wear them.

Great style, grows with you.

Love the style! The lowness of the front is perfect for a growing bump. Only reason for 4/5 stars is the denim isn’t as quality as a traditional pair of jeans, it’s quite thinner. I purchased my normal size (25) and it fits great. Overall a great option, as well as the buy back program.

Great quality- small through the legs

They are super cute and I love the style! Unfortunately they were pretty tight on my legs and when I sized up, the waist was too big.

Button digs in

Like some others have said, these jeans didn’t work for me going in to the third trimester, unfortunately. They were cute from weeks 13-25 or so but after that, the button started digging in to my bump in an extremely comfortable way.I have a short torso so I think it’s possible that, for me and other short torso folks, there’s just not enough room for the button to be fully under a third trimester bump without the pants being too low. They’re otherwise super cute but I think the cost is high for the amount of time I’ve been able to wear them.

I received the wrong item, the jeans I ordered cannot be ordered now because they are out of stock. Very disappointing.

Good, stylish maternity jeans

I am 19 weeks pregnant and after a rough first half of the pregnancy, was finally feeling well enough to put these on. I love the fit - and that I don't have to sacrifice style for comfort!

Life saver!

So glad I bought these jeans! Really helping me ease into my new pregnant body. My torso is a little shorter than some of the modeled pictures, so the top of the pant doesn’t exactly hit below my (small) bump. I have to pull the pants down a bit (which creates a gap in my crotch area). But overall I am still happy with the purchase and it’s the only pair of pants that I can zip and button at 16 weeks!
