The product shows well in a dim room. The assembly instructions are a little challenging, but worked out well. I added a $5 timer so we can see it during the day and evenings.

Works great over our art work above mantle. This piece doesn't get hot at all, and is very adjustable.

Elegant Light

Its hard to find these at a competitive price but Walmart had the best pricing. Very nice light. I chose the picture frame mounted option (you can also wall mount as both options are included in package) . It is difficult to tighten enough to eliminate movement of the arm but picture is above fireplace with very little chance of inadvertent bumps. This version is corded. I plugged it into a wifi plug and it comes on automatically without my having to rummage for the in-line switch.

Did not work for us

No matter where we angled the light, it reflected terribly in the glass on the front of the picture

Perfect!

We purchased two of these for two dining room pictures on either side of our china cabinet. We had outlets behind the pictures controlled by a wall switch, and, after being sure to set the lamp switch to the highest output setting, cut the 8' cord on this down to maybe 2'. Very pleased with the result. We could have used the "direct attach" lights, but they were 3 times as expensive so chose these and made them work.

A good light..

The unit solved a problem for us and lights the picture well. It didn't at first, but then I discovered it has a two-stage switch, and the second stage is a lot brighter. The unit had apparently been returned-it was loose in the packaging and had a couple of scratches on it, but they're not apparent from a distance.

Works but feels cheap

For the price, I found the lamp cheaply made. Nice to have a lot of hardware included, like an allen wrench for loosening the base for rotating the arm, and screw and fasteners for mounting to Sheetrock. At least one piece of hardware, a finger tightening nut which I believe is meant to take replace the allen nut, was not sized correctly and did not fit.

Works Well

The lamp might be a little small for the size of our picture but for the price it was a good choice. It was easy to install.

Great lamp. It has a high and low setting with the integrated switching the cord. The cord is white which blends into my wall. The mounting hardware came with pieces that attach it to a standard aluminum frame along with other screws and a bracket for wood. I recommend this lamp for the price and quality.

Looks great and lights my oil painting beautifully. I used two lights as my painting is 48 inches wide. Only complaint is that the line switch is too far down on the cord. I plugged the lights into a 2 receptacle timer and it solves the problem of having to move the furniture each time I want to turn it on. The directions are not helpful and nowhere does it say the lights have two brightness choices. The thumb screw didn't fit and there is an unnamed part that I still don't know what it is.

I have a very large picture displayed in a stairway, so a battery operated light wasn't going to work for me. I am very happy with how this provides sufficient lighting to properly display my art work! It was easy to install and wire into the light outlet that was previously there. I would recommend this to everyone.
