This is one huge mantel clock!

Gorgeous clock! Much larger than I was expecting. Beautiful chimes. However, the hands are not synced with the chimes so, it chimes at 2-3 minutes before the hour, quarter, half and 3/4. This is not a huge issue for me. It was an open box item and it was 30 percent off the list price so, I accepted the risk involved with buying such an item. I decided to keep the clock because it was perfect in every other way.

It is a beautiful clock but it chimes 5 minutes earlier. Instead of chiming on the hour, it chimes on 5 minutes to the hour and I don’t know how to fix it. I assume that the clock was made in USA but like so many other manufacturers, Howard Miller has outsourced its production lines to Asia and they certain have quality control issues. This is not a cheap clock over $500, so I expected better quality from them.

Looks beautiful on my mantel and I like the wood casing but I do not care for the inside mechanism.

Love the clock! We had a little trouble getting the clock synced to not ring for the 8 hours overnight. The directions could be a little clearer.

It is LOVELY and the chimes sound wonderful. It reminds me of my late grandma every time it sounds. I am beyond thrilled with it!

I love the accuracy of this clock and the chiming!
