Love the fan! It’s quiet and works well for my bedroom. The style is perfect for my taste.
Last time I ever order from Wayfair. Received a Hunter Fan in a brown cardboard box appears to be from China. The box had holes and tears in it. Sent pictures of box to Wayfair and they wanted to charge me $30 to return it. Also, there was no sealed inner box with Hunter markings just a thin outer cardboard box. Pitiful.....
Falsely advertised by Lowes.
I had to do a 1-star review......not because of the fan, but because of Lowes. The fan is GREAT!
Bad shaking Fan
Bad experience, the Fan will shake if we turn on the Fan and set to 2nd level of speed or higher, won't purchase this kind of Fan anymore in the future.
Super quiet
Great quality ceiling fan. It’s so quiet you don’t even know it’s on! It also gives off tons of light.
Hunter's warranty is worthless - buyer beware!
I recently purchased two Hunter ceiling fans directly from Hunter and paid my electrician to install them. The transmitter for the remote control for one fan was defective from the factory and would not work for my electrician. He called Hunter and got a trouble ticket number. When I contacted Hunter, here's what they said about their warranty: "Unfortunately, the warranty does not cover any installation costs, including the original installation of the fan, replacement of parts, or replacement fans." What kind of warranty is this? It's worthless! I was expecting them to stand behind their product and offer a warranty that makes me the consumer whole. What good is their warranty if the fan comes from the factor defective and they will not stand behind the quality of the product by putting the consumer at a loss? All they will do is send a new transmitter, hopefully one that will work this time, but I now have to pay my electrician a second time to install the new transmitter. In looking over other reviews, I see that this seems to be a common problem and it's the consumer who bears the additional cost for Hunter's faulty factor parts. I saw another review that indicated Hunter's electronic components, like the transmitter, frequently don't work initially or fail within the first few years. So, it's not surprising that 71% of reviewers on the ConsumerAffairs website gave Hunter the lowest rating of a 1-Star. That means almost three-quarters of their reviewing customers have a very low opinion of Hurter fans. I didn't have the option of giving them a zero star, and I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing a Hunter fan. Obviously, such a rating reflects poor business practices by Hunter and has substantially eroded their brand's prior good reputation, so I say it's just not worth purchasing a Hunter product. That's what I call bad business practices, bad customer relations and I will never purchase a Hunter fan again! I doubt if my review will even be posted.
Beautiful
I just enclosed my porch and I love my new ceiling fan! It looks beautiful, it's quiet and it was easy to install. The remote makes it easy to use.
Cannot be operated manually if you lose remote
Works well, but had to purchase an additional piece to set the fan lower than 4 inches.
Love this fan so much I bought 2 more. Looks absolutely amazing. It’s very quiet and the lighting is quite bright.
Excellent fan!
Excellent fan. Moves the air very well. Love the remote!
Faulty design
After less than two years of owning the fan, the grommets that hold the fan blades in place have broken. The fan is useless and can’t be used. I spent over $200 on a fan that worked for less than 2 years.
Great fan and remote for single wall switch hooku!
Great quiet, powerful fan with remote, I only wish I knew ahead that I could not wire it to two switch wall switch like the fan I was replacing. I called tech support when I noticed no instructions for attaching it to the two switches. My daughter has a Hunter fan with remote that has the two switch hooked up so can control light separate from fan or turn both off with both switches.
Very nice fan and light
Works quite well and is a pretty gray, dimmable with remote. Blades are light gray on one side and darker gray on the other so you can choose which side you want to show.
fan blades are not secure
Fan is quiet. This fan can take A19 bulbs which allows you to use any smart bulb you want. Controller is lightweight but works fine. Fan blades are secured using a grommet as shown in photos. Blades are constantly loose. We have to constantly press down on them to secure them. Fan blades do not feel secure, especially at high speed. would not purchase again. Overall poor design. We purchased on 12/28/22.
Only had fan installed for two months and now remote lights do not work. You push the button to turn them on and they come on then immediately turn back off. Very disappointed.
Beautiful fan
Beautiful fan. It works well. I ove the remote. I do wish remote showed where you are with dimming the lights or fan speed. It is a guessing game but we are getting the hang of it
Ordered fan for our bonus room which has an angled ceiling. Looks nice. Works well.
Pretty and Strong
Fan looks great and very sturdy. Super quiet and high velocity. Nicely organized installation manual with coded packets of nuts/bolts for each step. Reasonably easy to install except for one diagram of receiver placement. The words are accurate but diagram is confusing. Love their lifetime warranty.
This ceiling fan was exactly what we were looking for, after looking at a million styles. Was easy to install and the instructions were clear. Remote works well.
Replacing
Product is great. Installation was straightforward. It's replacing a Hunter that we installed 21 years ago.
