No tools are needed to assemble the shelves. All parts are identical and do not need to be sorted by orientation or other characteristics. The shelves are attached to conical plastic clips, which allows you to change the height of any shelf in relation to adjacent shelves at any time without unloading other shelves. [Rewarded Review] Chrome Wire Storage Shelves with 5 Shelves

Great set of storage adjustable shelves. Well packed in a heavy duty box which suffered only minor damage in FedX chipping. If you need to get organized these can help. Follow the instructions or as good or better way to assemble is to stack all the shelves correct side up, on top of each other on the floor where you want them to be. Then put the poles together and set them into their places on each corner. Then raise each shelf, the first goes to the top, the next second to the top and so on. You count the rings on the poles to align space for each shelf so they are all evenly spaced and level or for the space of each as you desire. There are some chrome plastic caps that push into the top of each pole so nothing can fall inside and extra plastic clips that hold and lock the shelves in place in case you lose one. You don't have to use all 5 shelves and could use only 4 and have larger spaces, Use the other shelf for something else. They are strong and should last a lifetime.

I have three Hyper Tough wire shelves in different sizes, they are all a great value. I checked around and Walmart had the best price for every size I purchased. I did add casters to make them portable, which were around $20. Two shelves are in my garage and one is in my guest bedroom closet. These were a less expensive option than a closet organizer. I added on the Alera hook bars that snap on and they work great - a 2 pack was less than $15. Highly recommend these shelves!
