Fan is like 1,600 CFM, not 2339 CFM. not powerful.
Thank you, good item happy with performance.
Easy to install. Thermostat is a little touchy. Working great so far.
Met my expectations good price easy installation decent instructions. A couple of hours for installation fabrication of mount and run new dedicated power supply. So far working perfectly set temperature at a 100 degrees and speed at just over 3/4 throttle.
Claims that much more air is moved than actually occurs. Weak and worthless if you ask me.
A great fan with variable setting to make it easy to use. Thank you for the great fan
use manual controlers
For fans, use manual controlers only. Digital control is not needed for an attic fan and should be of non electronic as manual or school type will last longer for continuous duty which these fans are as they run for hours at a time, not 10 minutes.
Exhaust Fan
I already had shutters in place. This was the only fan tha came without, so I purchased hoping it was strong enough to blow open my shutters. It wasn't, so I returned it. Works fine otherwise as I have another just like it with smaller shutters.
Easy to install. Good price.
Works as expected. Thermostat failed after 2 days, but customer service sent a replacement. So far so good on the replacement.
Updated review
I had some emailed questions about the electronic controller and customer service was prompt and helpful. Everything is working great...I really like the variable speed fan which I set to the fastest speed that produces the least air noise in my installation. We also find the temperature sensor to be fairly accurate on both turning off as the attic cools and turning back on as needed.

Affordable attic gable fan
This is a plug-in, not hard-wired, variable speed, thermostatically controlled attic fan. Standard 14" fan blades with a 15" something circular frame. Works for shutters, gables, etc. The fan and 3-prong grounded cord is one unit, and the stand-alone controller is another unit. The controller plugs into a 120V receptacle, and the fan cord plugs into the controller. Controller only takes one plug, leaving the other plug available for a straight-in plug (but not an angled plug). The controller has an on/off switch, a thermostat and a speed control. The motor appears to have sealed bearings as there are no oiling ports. The thermostat seems accurate within a few degrees, which is normal; adjust as desired to an actual thermometer. I really like the variable speed control as it allows me to adjust for noise, gable screen air capacity, etc. I can max the airflow up to the point of excess air noise. The metal circular frame, support arms, motor band, etc., seem well-made and sufficiently sturdy. The cord and motor wires are connected in a small box triple-screwed to one of the arms; this is also the ground wire's mount point (in that box). The fan blades (14" circle) are smaller than my old 14" fan blades, but they seem to move more air than my gable can handle; so no issue there. Fan blades seem balanced; no vibration issues. All in all, a nice affordable, more adjustable, replacement fan. By the way, I mounted it in an sound-insulated box so I didn't use the external mount brackets, so I can't vouch for those.
