I used to use clay but now I use walnut shell litter. My carpet has stayed immaculate due to this mat ^__^

LOVE THESE MATS!!!

Excellent quality, functional and a great help. I purchased two jumbo high sided litter boxes with a front entryway. I no longer have to follow my furkids with a vacuum cleaner after they use the box. It's large enough so that most of the sand-like litter that clings to their feet is deposited on the mat. It's also very simple to gently shake it, bend the sides slightly upward and lift the flap on the left side to deposit any trapped litter back into the box.

It kind of worked, but it didn't really do it for me. It was too much trouble to try to empty and clean it.

Best kitty litter mat

Collects most all litter. You can put an XL puppy pad in case of accidents and can easily dispose of litter by folding up pad.

Less litter to sweep up

This mat really works to keep almost all of the litter in the mat instead of spread out on the floor. I find that it is easy to pick up the mat and pour the litter back into the box. Lifting up the top flap and sweeping litter into a dust bin in a bit challenging. Or, maybe that is just me! I'm going to purchase a second one for another litter box.

Catches that litter!

I bought the bigger size, but still wish it was bigger. It works well to catch those little pieces of litter. You need to be careful when you empty it; hold it flat until you’re ready to dump it out.

We have four cats and had a huge litter tracking problem. We also live in an rv so the mess was unbearable. This mat captures so much litter. I've used other mats that did an "eh" job. But I love this one. And it's easy to either poor the litter back into the box or vacuum it up off the mat. We use oko cat litter. It's wood chunks.

What a difference this made in litter tracking. We took in four strays to foster, kitties who aren't as neat as our own four, and what a mess they made with the litter. This mat, though pricey, has made a world of a difference! We are contemplating getting another one for another litter box.

Nice Mat for My Senior Cat

My senior cat sometimes misses her low-entry senior litter box, so I use this mat with a pee pad between the mat's two layers. It works very well.
