Green Ikat - colors not vibrant & other issues

I bought this for my bedroom to go with a very colorful duvet. I love the pattern and colors in the photos on-line. As other customers mentioned, the colors do not show up as vibrant and differentiated as in the on-line photos. First, some of the green/olive color blends together with the adjacent color and the pattern gets muddy. Second problem is that the tufting on the rug is not of a consistent color. It looks like grey or white yarns pop through and it looks like there is lint or crumbs on the surface of the rug -- but it's not lint it is the yarn of the rug. It does not brush away. It makes it look low quality. Third, it sheds a lot, as other customers have mentioned.

Colorful and high quality eclectic rug

Colors are lovely and rug is thick and plush. Perfect size for our space and has held up well to pets and human traffic. Does shed a bit early on, but easy to resolve with a quick vacuuming.

Beautiful runner in kitchen

This rug is just as nice and pretty in person. Very happy with the richness of color.

gorgeous rug, excellent quality, however the picture doesn't show the real colors. While I would have preferred the colors in the photo, the rug in person was still lovely and acceptable. The base color is not beige, but more of a mousy greige, the yellow is more of a French's mustard, the pink is more raspberry and the green is more forest pine colored. It's lovely, but definitely more muted in person than the photo. I also purchased the green version, also lovely, also more muted in person. Green and gold turned out to be forest green, persimmon orange and a little bit of French's mustard bordered with some Grey Poupon. Very happy with both but the colors in the photos are brighter than reality.

Looks and feels great. Not as dark as some of the close up product photos make it seem, really the colors are just how I had hoped -- semi-muted but saturated enough to add some verve. We got the 9x12 because our couch is a beast.

This rug is gorgeous! My order arrived in 4 days. The rug was well packed. I would order it again.

Defective dying process -- Looks dirty

The rug I was sent is defective. The dying process clearly went wrong-- it's splotchy and striped and not in a good way. It looks very dirty. See picture with beige comforter for reference.

Beautiful Olive/Gold Rug

We have the Olive/Gold rug in 8x10 - it's beautiful. Great quality and works well in our sitting room without being too busy or overpowering. We usually get safe, solid-colored rugs but wanted to try something different - we're happy that we did. The olive/orange/gold colors are the same as the photo but the colors and pattern appear more subtle in person than they do in photos. The rug is thick and comfy and hasn't shed much at all since we got it several months ago.

Photos look bright and saturated but when received, rug looked dirty and dingy. The cream background had stripes of grey in it and looked dingy.

Dense and plush, high quality!

This rug is very thick and plush. I unrolled it and let it air out but there has been almost no shedding and no smell whatsoever. It's a pleasure to step on! The design is very unique. The colors are vibrant and beautiful.

Gorgeous, practical, looks like art

I'm do in love with this rug I just sit and look at it. While it is definitely PINK and NOT RED, it still works so well because ultimately I ordered it for the green. It pulled everything together and looks amazing. The pile is thick enough and practical, will vacuum well. LOVE IT!

The rug is high quality and feels nice underfoot. The color is WAY off. Rather than an ivory background, mine is fugly grey. Mine also has fuscia/hot pink instead of the orange/red. Not happy with it, but the price was right and I will use it for a pet Bed in my office. Last pic is what I ordered.
