NOT blackout curtains

The description says these are blackout curtains, they are not. These are room darkening, sure, but not blackout as stated. Would not have purchased had description (and packaging) not been deceiving.

Great deal

Good quality for a great price. These curtains do a great job darkening my living room. I just wish they still sold them as a pair, and why are these so gosh darn expensive now?

Wonderful curtains

Great fabric and blackout. Bought them in blush to match with blush bedspread. Regrettably the blushes didn't match and had to return them. No fault of the curtains the color didn't match. I recommend the curtain itself.

Dog Rates 2 I give 5 Stars

I got these for my living room. We live on a high foot traffic street and I have a small dog that loves to sit in the window on patrol. Hes always watching and waiting to bark at anyone and anything that crosses his path. I don't mind for the first five minutes, but after that it's not fun for anyone anymore. These completely block the light and view and he's not bothered anymore by what he can't see.

Great for keeping out light

These are tightly-woven panels. They do not have foam backing, but they definitely keep out heat and cold much better than a thinner curtain. I purchased the Indigo, so they really are room darkening. I have them on my steel front door using a standard magnetic rod with curtain rings for easy opening and closing. I would recommend these curtains.

Not blackout whatsoever

Bought these for a kids room, as they are advertised as blackout. They are like hanging a cotton sheet up. I didn’t expect them to be extreme blackout, but I did expect them to filter some light. Nope. They look great though! So if you don’t need them to be blackout, they are a great deal. If you need blackout, especially for a kids room, DO NOT BUY THESE.

Eclipse Darrell Blackout Window Curtain

Not same color as pictured. No backing. Flimsy. They have low room darkening. Sewing/seams awful. Live in rural area. Too much trouble to return. Thankfully I had coupons that lowered the price. Would not recommend them to anyone. A case of you get what you paid for.

Good curtains for the price

I got these in 3 different colors: gray, mint, and indigo. I love the colors, but definitely recommend getting the darker colors. The curtains do not totally block out light, but block more than regular curtains. The indigo color does the best and the black inner weaving is less noticeable. I also had one mint panel that was missing a small section of that inner weaving. It created a bright stripe across the panel when the sun would shine through. Honestly, they are a great value for the price. If you want higher quality or total black-out curtains, get something else.

It has the room darkening feature I needed

I needed room darkening panels in a navy blue material which wasn't formal, but they needed to be wider than 40" (which was most of what was available). I wasn't sure about the texture of the material but at least is didn't look formal. The instructions for getting the packing wrinkles removed was to put them in a dryer with a damp towel. When they came out, they were perfect and do provide the room darkening requirement I needed for my bedroom sliding glass doors. My bedroom faces East, which is fine, but during the Summer season the sun starts shining straight in at 5am! Now just a little light comes from the top of the rod.The stitching quality (puckered a little at the hem) could be better but that was resolved with a just a little pressing. I am VERY PLEASED with them and the fact I found 50" panels which were more casual in appearance to coordinate with my cottage-style bedroom was great. If I needed to cover more windows/sliders I would purchase additional panels.
