Cute Little Bench

We live on a steep hill overlooking a small lake and our front porch is below grade. We've recently been giving it an uplift. I spent a few months looking for a small bench that had a little character as I wanted to distract from the cement wall that you can see when looking out the front door. I couldn't go with a traditional bench that is usually 24 inches deep as it would block the walkway to and from the door. This little bench fits perfectly and gives me the convenience of somewhere to set groceries and such as I unlock the front door. I plan to decorate it with a couple of outdoor pillows and a cute watering can to complete the look. The covered porch does get a little rain when the wind blows so I believe the wood seat slats will probably benefit from some type of water repellent soon. And I am sure I will need to spray paint the metal legs every few years to avoid rust. I considered a backless bench made out of faux wood but thought they looked a little clunky for this application. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase and price.

Modern farmhouse bench exactly as pictured!

This bench came in a huge (and very light) double-boxed box, fully assembled. Prepare for a lot of cardboard to take to recycling or for a kiddo project! The bench is a great size, sturdy, and has a modern farmhouse vibe. It fits perfectly on my front porch which is exactly what I bought it for.

great outdoor bench

THE BENCH IS GREAT ! i am planning on using it on a porch at a horse farm against the railing to use for dining. the simple design will work great against the backdrop of the wood rail.

I got it just 3 days after ordering & I didn't have to build at all. It looks fancy and natural, but one of the wood panels was kind of unattached... so I had to put the instant glue. That's the only complaint. As a result, I really love it! (ADI it's not heavy so easy to carry)
