Steam Punk Friendly

Sturdy! Purchased this for my daughter and son-in-law. It goes well with their "steam punk" decorating theme. They have it in the kitchen, and use it to display and store some of their commonly used crockery and some small appliances.

Difficult to get started

I like the shelves once they were put together. Getting started was very hard. Without my husband's strength, I would not have gotten them together. The top pipes had to be put together beyond normal hand strength or they will not fit in the predrilled shelf holes.

These shelves are amazing. I just love the farmhouse industrial look they give my home.

My favorite bookcase EVER!

I love my industrial bookcase! It is strong, and attractive. It has not bowed in the middle with the weight of my books, nor has it canted to the side, and it is cool. It is my favorite piece of furniture, by far.

I purchased two of these shelves to flank the desk in my office. They are really sturdy and where easy to assemble. They provide a subtle industrial look while the wood tone warms them up for the room.

Industrial Style

I bought (2) of these Industrial look book shelves to create a display on either side of a metal buffet. I plan to soften the look with the decor items selected for each of the 5-tier units. Venturing away from Shabby Chic to a more edgy version of CottageCore in my decorating style and these bookcases are an excellent value. a little wobbly but can be attached to a wall for stability.

Horrible quality. Couldn’t even get the shelf assembled because it was such bad quality. The pieces wouldn’t screw together evenly. Had to return the shelf it was so bad

Great shelf for the price.

Nice shelf for the price. We used it for my husbands whiskey shelf! Perfect for that purpose and holds plenty of weight. The wood looked nice and wasn't plastic looking like other shelves I've looked at.

I was going for a touch of the industrial look in my NYC apartment and this bookshelf complimented the theme perfectly without being too much. Very easy to put together. A little unstable so be careful around small children

Strong Sturdy Gorgeous!

These are extremely sturdy and are a perfect complement to my mahogany antiques. They will hold my books well!

Pretty but not stable.

We bought three of these shelves and they are wobbly and some of the wood planks were not straight. We still have one in the box that it appears is too late to return. We can't use these for too many books or heavy items.

Not bad...you get what you pay for

The bookcase looks nice when assembled. You get what you pay for and it serves its purpose. I live in a compact space, so this was a good option for me. I only gave it 3 out of 5 stars because of the following - as another reviewer stated, it's a bit tricky to assemble and if you don't pay close attention to the instructions, you'll end up spending twice as much time putting it together as you should (this is what happened to me). I had to shim one of the feet with a piece of cardboard because it was not flush with the other feet and made the shelf wobble. One of the shelves cracked after about a week of being assembled and having books on it. And the last thing I'd like to point out is that the rubber gaskets / grommets used between the piping and wood, is very cheap and flimsy. A better design option would be to make them thicker so they don't tear when tightening the pipe sleeves, or to make them out of an entirely different material like plastic nylon or a similar material. I also used the wall mounts for added support. Again, it's not bad for the price but with some minor adjustments, it would be great for the price.
