Seam on fixture stem

Normally i am very pro-kraus. We buy their products for the homes we build and have no problems with them. This product though, misses the mark on the quality we expect from them. About 6", or mid-line of the main fixture body, there is a visible seam in the metal. We have the chrome version and it's noticeable. It looks like this is an extended stem version from their faucet that is designed for recessed sinks. It's really a shame. This needs an update to have the stem body be one piece instead of two pieces - no seam. If you don't mind a seam in a very visible place on the fixture, this is still a great choice. If you don't want a seam though, find another fixture.

Fast shipping as always and packaged really well. I’m a plumber so I’d like to think I know quality when I see it. In this it was my wife who was my customer and she absolutely loved it. Super quality, heavy duty but a smooth handle movement. Does not feel cheap at all in the slightest. I bought and installed 9 of these in my personal house and they really are fantastic.

I ordered several of these faucets to use in a new construction home with 4 bathrooms. Love this sleek simple single hole faucet. The Kraus brand has always exceeded my expectations. These faucets did not disappoint. Great but, great quality, solid snd functional as well as great looking. Would order again and recommend to a friend.
