This was very easy to install. I love that it's pressure mounted, it is very sturdy and is perfect for my family. We have a small dog and a toddler so this is exactly what we needed to keep them both out of the kitchen while I'm cooking. I love that I can see them too.

Very effective , nice design, easy to install. Not only prevents our active grandson from tumbling down the stairs, keeps our dog contained as well.

Was easy to install. Easy to open and close with one hand. It swings either way.

Finding the right gate to section off any area of your home can be difficult to choose when there is a wide selection and variety that exist. The Thruway W Series Glide Open Gate that is able to be extended up to 52in. , first off can be described in a nutshell as beautiful. The materials that the gate are made of are very nice materials. The look of it also very unique, provides a great barrier, whether it is separating one room or an area of your home.

[Rewarded Review] Stylish but awkward gate that looks good but performs poorly

I was excited to try this as a pet gate since it looked nice with its metal and wood design. It looks almost as good as the pictures (though the addition of giant warning stickers mars the look). Now having installed it, I would say it's "good enough" but has real problems:

This gate fits a larger sized opening. It’s very sturdy and easy to install. It looks nice and good quality. It’s easy to use and we have not had any issues with it so far. The height of the gate is good too.

We recently received the Thruway 60XW Series baby gate and absolutely love it. It was was to put up and works great. I love have the secure door to walk through. I don’t have to worry about tripping while climbing over it. The gate fits the doorway well and is adjustable.

If you are looking for a nice gate for your baby or even animals? I would definitely recommend this gate. I love that it has stylish look that matches my home decor. Another great thing about this gate is it was easy to set up. I also enjoy the door that opens in the middle of gate. It opens up easily to go through the gate. No more having to take it down or having to climb over it like other gates I have had in the past. I can't say anything bad about this gate. It is well made and very sturdy. I will be definitely investing in a few more of these great baby gates for my home.

This is a WONDERFUL, larger sized baby gate! It is not easy to find a gate for larger sized openings, which so many home have now, with open floor plans. And even better, my favorite feature of this large safety gate, is the door, enabling you to walk through the gate, instead of stepping over it. So helpful, especially when you are carrying little ones!

Love the look of this baby gate! I’ll be honest though- I’m using mine for puppies! I volunteer for a rescue and one of our dogs is about to have a litter- I have a perfect room to keep them in but it has a very wide opening into the next room- more than just a doorway- so I worried about containing them safely when born. This installed nicely with the tension mounts and feels sturdy enough to keep them safe- if I had kids in there I would probably install it more securely into the walls. It’s a great height- not very tall like the ones we used to have, but plenty tall enough to keep everyone contained without being obtuse in the room. Looks and works great- I am happy!

The Thruway 60XW Series is easy to install. It is well made and durable. I love that my daughter can’t open it easily. My daughter was able to open our last gate. This gate comes with a latch and a bottom piece that doesn’t allow you to open the gate so easy. The gate is sturdy. I love the wood and metal design.

We love this gate! It is much easier to put together and install than other gates we've tried before. I can move it from room to room very easily and I love that it expands to fit our wider doorways. So far it seems pretty sturdy/safe for our very active toddler. Definitely recommend!!!

Easy to use. Baby gates have come a long way. Sturdy sleek design that kinda matches the interior of my home. I like that it fits and doesn’t look too bad in my house but not really a fan of the 2 tone color

I have three dogs and three children. I needed a gate that would keep all of them out of my kitchen when it's dinner time. This gate is perfect for just that! I have a wide walk through into my kitchen so usual gates don't reach most of the time. I really liked this Thruway because it can expand up to 60" It fits perfectly in our walkway, and between the metal and wood finishings on the gate it fits right into our home decor and style as well.

We have the wood and metal gate which looks great in every home. The hight of the is great for toddlers and dogs 26 inches and wide its 60". The gate is super easy to install and hold up well when bumped by a dog or a toddler reaching on the bars. It opens wide enough for you to comfortably walk in as well.

The Thruway 60XW Series design is one of the best I have seen. I like that the length is adjustable. I also like that it takes precise effort to open the door. My kids were able to open our last gate easily. This gate truly has helped us keep our daughter from dangerous places in our home like our stairs. It is also easy to clean.

We love this gate. We have a wider opening in one of our doorways and have been looking for a gate to put there. Most of the gates I’ve seen haven’t felt sturdy or like my daughter could easily push it over, but this stays in the space well and provides great security
