It's been almost two weeks since I got this. I really like it. Firstly arrived on time very well packaged, no damage. It does require 4 D batteries, I guess I missed that in the information, however, that said it works perfect. I wanted a can where I did not have to lift the lid every time I wanted to put something in it. Don't think negative, this is helpful when you cooking and washing you hand everyone you put something in the trash can. The motion sensor works great. So this is a terrific buy , well spent money. I highly recommend.

My wife is like a little kid,she likes to watch the door open and close.

Uses D batteries which are totally inefficient and the lid opens whenever anyone walks near. I do not like.

I bought two of them and the batteries that I used which is the yellow Ray O Vac ones, have lasted more than 6 months and in the salon/barbershop I have them in, you can bet they get used quite often... totally worth the purchase! and easy to clean!!
