Kids love it

My husband and I set this up. Took about 30 minutes. Was actually fairly easy. Pump is small but is efficient for the 10' x 30" pool we bought. The filter does need to be cleaned at least once a week, or that's what I do. It is a pain to do that as you have to remove hose parts inside pool and replace with the included stoppers to clean filter. That is really the only complaint I have. We've had it up all summer and have enjoyed it thoroughly. This is perfect for anyone who wants the convenience of a pool but doesn't want to install a permanent more expensive one.

Great Value

My wife wanted a stock tank pool but this is actually a lot cheaper. I paired it with an Intex SX1500 sand filter. Probably overkill but I am on well water. Of note, to attach the filter to the pump you’ll need the hose adapters and extra hoses. Pool doesn’t come with extras and it doesn’t have a pump. We were very careful when setting it up and so far, no leaks. We set the pool on top of a super thick tarp to try and prevent any punctures. Set up was easy. Fill was quick.

Sad little boy

I bought this pool for my little grandson. I spent over an hour putting this pool together and when I was done I seen 2 holes in the pool liner it says right on the box that you can’t return it to the store you bought it from the company is in the states and there is a 3 hour time difference. I got through to IntexI and they told me they would send me an email so I could sent a copy of the receipt, I waited all day and when I didn’t receive it I called again. The second person said they would send me the link and they did send a link but you can’t reply to it. I’m really not happy with the whole thing if I had known that I couldn’t return it to Walmart I would not have bought it

I contacted INTEX support after waiting 11 minutes they tell me the model number is not the one on the box, but on the liner. I’m at work the pool is at home. Service call center hours are 0900-1700 PACIFIC TIME and appear to go to a heavily accent rep. I get a picture of the liner and call back 15 minutes this time . They complete a. warrantee claim for their poor QC. Then tell me to complete the form and submit from my email. Somone will review the claim during business hours for approval. Also ha to submit the order pics off TSC web app. If approved I should get a replacement liner in 10-12 days. The. i will have to break the current pool down and re assemble. Estimated 22 days if this liner doesn’t leak.

Poor quality control leaked right out of the box

The box was well packed and orderly. It was moderate difficulty during assembly of the pump because there was 2 diagrams and one was not labeled. The 2 rating is for two leaks in what appears to be the seam in the bottom started to leak pretty significantly on opposite sides of the pool once I had about six inches of water. I’m about to try Intel service to see if they can get a liner out quickly. That will be a pain since I will have to disassemble the entire pool to replace the liner about another 6 hours of work. You would think they would focus that QC on the seam heat seal. Other seams and joints in the liner walls look weak too.

came with holes

As we were setting the pool up we noticed a small hole in the bottom liner. We patched it and then noticed that after filling the pool there was leaking from under the pool and there seems to be another hole in the bottom liner. I even put foam padding underneath to prevent this from happening. I don’t understand why the bottom of the liner is so thin and cheaply made, the sides are nice and thick. It is not just intex though, all brands of these pools are made this way. Just sad to know that the pool probably won’t even last us one season.

Love it!! I have two children (3 years%26 18months) this was an awesome purchase! It maybe took us 30 minutes to put together (while our children crawled all over us) and maybe half a day to fill up. The pump works great for this pool! It fits us 4 all inside and we still have a lot of room. We have probably swam in it everyday for the last month unless it has stormed and it has held up perfectly. My family and I love it! I’m glad I made the purchase.

Pool Liner Life Expectancy

Generally needs to be replaced yearly due to weathering and chlorine degradation. I have tried to save the liner for two previous units, and was not very successful. For ones peace of mind. it is just easier to take the pool apart at the end of season. and replace next year. The reasonable cost makes that the best solution in my opinion.

Great pool!

I purchased this pool in June 2022 with free shipping from Walmart. The parts inside were in separate boxes so I was able to carry them myself to the backyard. I read the warning about Bermuda grass possibly damaging the liner so I put an additional tarp under the pool, which prevented the grass from coming through the liner. Having had a built-in pool with a DE filter years ago I was a little skeptical about the tiny filter that was supplied. Using a small water test kit I checked the pH and chlorine levels daily. The water stayed clean and sparkling all summer long and I only ran the filter four hours a day. I only changed the filter insert once which cost about $10. The grandkids had two great seasons with this pool, but are now outgrowing the 30 inch water depth. I was very happy with this pool and plan on purchasing another Intex.

We have a wide range of age groups at home. This pool allows for my younger kiddos to still enjoy safely and large enough for my older kids to still have room to play and not feel like they are in a Kiddy pool. This pool covered the diameter that my older kids want to play in while not being so deep I can’t allow the younger ones in it. For me it is the perfect compromise. I happily purchased the pump that is not included and it works perfectly for our family. It is sturdy and well made to last. I did receive the Intex pool itself in exchange for my honest review.

We LOVE this pool. The 10x30 is the perfect size. It fits on our patio so we can keep an eye on them from the living room and it's shallow enough that our 4 year old can easily stand in it even when full. We haven't gotten a ladder for it yet. Honestly having this pool is the only thing that keeps summers bearable. It's the only reason the kids will go outside when it's over 100 every day. They spend literal hours in it every day. We have a large sand filter that works great with it.

The size of this pool is just perfect for our kids. It's not too deep and it's big enough for them to swim. It is very easy to set up no need for instructions pretty straight forward. Its one of the easiest pools to set up took up less than 20min. It does not come with a pump or any accessories. Even if you have to buy the accessories separately it's still of great value and worth it. Overall, it's a great pool it holds up really well its very strong and sturdy. It is very easy to clean. I know my kids enjoy it to the fullest.

Perfect pool to play in!

Love this pool! Think kiddie pool times 10. For a hot summer day we want a place to sit and splash a bit. Perfect size for the 5 of us to hang out in as we cool off. We can sit on the bottom with our head/shoulders out of the water...or the littles can stand up. No treading water necessary, yet large and deep enough to swim around.

Highly recommended this 12ft x 30in prism frame premium pool, it is perfect for cooling off, the temperature in Arizona is above 115 degrees, and this pool is perfect. It is very easy to assemble, you just have to follow the instructions, it took me and my husband about 30 minutes to assemble it. The size is perfect. I have two little daughters of 4 and 6 years old, and they can be very comfortable in it. Its material is very durable and the quality is excellent, it just doesn't come with the pump but I had one from another pool I had before, it took us about 4 hours for the pool to fill up with water, my daughters spend all afternoon playing in it, I like that it's a very good size and now they're learning to swim, it's perfect!

No pump included as described.. product description clearly indicates a 530 GPH pump and filter included. Several other reviews are stating the same thing. Why does someone not inspect boxes before shipping? Walmart why are you allowing this vendor to advertise this product and not fullfilling it. I called intex customer service but could not communicate with representative due to language barrier. Now, what i am suppose to do? ... Go out and make a purchase of a pump and filter in order to use the product? Intex and Walmart please correct. Someone respond with a phone number so i can speak to them in english. Thank you

We put up a pool every single summer for our kids to enjoy and it gives the family something to do to beat the heat. This pool quality is amazing - Intex is always our #1 go-to when we are pool shopping. But there is a learning curve to a pool. This pool quality is amazing, it is a great size, and it is easy to install (if you know what you are doing). The only thing I wish this pool did differently - I wish it came with a great pump. We bought a Intex (canister) pump and it barely keeps up with the cleaning of the pool. It would be great if this pool came with a sand pump & a guide that helps teach you about pool upkeep. Other than that - the pool is really easy to maintain and keep blue if you know what you are doing and you do your research. Good chemical levels & a great nice pool vacuum are a must with this pool!

This is absolutely amazing pool it honestly was the easiest pool to set up.. It came with a manual to help put it all together. In fact it doesn't come with a pump it came with all the connections to add on if you would like. It definitely took the most time just to fill it up because it's a big pool. If your looking for a wonderful easy set up pool then this is definitely the one. The value it phenomenal. I also would recommend getting a step stool or latter for smaller children. Perfect size pool.

We love out new Intex Prism frame premium pool. The size (12ft x 30in) is perfect for our younger children and still deep enough for us adults to enjoy it. It was fairly easy to put together by my partner and I, and of course the children helping out. When we had it filled we push and tug the bottom to the side to make the bottom without crease as much as we could, they are still some but overall good. The quality is pretty good and hopeful it will hold up for years. We do plan on taking it down for the winter and storing in a warm place so keep the integrity of the material. So far we have been enjoying it almost everyday. When I chose it, I didn't notice the filter pump wasn't included, so I had to order it separately.

Love Intex Pools

This is my third Intex pool. The first was small (the one with the blue ring around the top). I really enjoyed it so last year I bought another Intex pool, but way bigger (like 18 feet wide I think). I had to downsize because we don't have a fenced backyard. So this year I bought this pool. The perfect medium. I was between the 10x30 and the 12x30. I chose the 12x30 because having that extra room is important. It makes it just a little better in my opinion. It is easy to assemble, but I have the experience from last summer so it was breeze. Took me about 30 minutes to get the pool up and standing. I brought the pump inside and assembled all the connections so when I went outside all I had to do was connect the three hoses to the appropriate place. Then I let the pool fill up and after it was full I then turned on the pump and followed those instructions. Also, after the pool was up I filled it 2 inches to get out any wrinkles and make sure it was on even ground before I finished filling it all the way up. My only complaint about the pool is I wish it had some type of small ladder. You will have to lift your kids in and out and if you are petite like I am then you will also find it awkward to get in and out. If I put one leg over to get in the pool frame is almost to tall for me without needing a step ladder or something. I have googled ladders and such to fix this problem and they are expensive so not worth it. I will just deal with the annoyance.
