Great Pool

Awesome pool, had the 18 x9 x52, but had to step up to the largest size for more room in pool while the grandkids are here using it.

This pool is amazing!!! I love that it comes with a sand filter and keeps the water fresh and clean. It also comes with a ladder, a pool cover and some cleaning nets. We use all of those things. It’s so big and deep. I love it.

Not quite there yet

At the moment I can only give this pool 3 stars because we have not put it up yet. We did take everything out the box to make sure that nothing was damaged because the outer box was all busted and torn. Nothing was damaged.

[Rewarded Review] Disappointment

I bought this for my family to enjoy this summer and ended up paying someone to put it together just to find out there were multiple bent pieces so the pool is not safe to use. I called customer service who gave me the number for the manufacturer warranty and they gave me a hard time and won’t help me because they are saying they need some numbers off the is that I don’t have anymore. So now I am stuck paying $2,000 for a broken pool that I cannot use. What a huge dissapointment.

We set up the pool June 16th, today is August 18th and the saltwater filter already stopped working, flashing EOL, meaning end of life. Incredibly disappointed!

perfect for this big yard

First off delivery was a bit tricky as in came by full size semi truck-although packaging was slightly damaged everything inside was fine. Instructions are pretty minimal but with a little common sense it goes together pretty quick- I DO recommend you get another person to help you as the liner and pool cover are quiet heavy and a bit cumbersome to move about on your own. Do put on a solid flat surface, not on dirt or sand. Do spend as much time as you need to get all the wrinkles out before you get more than a few inches of water, the extra person really helps with this! Fill as fast as possible or use Kepler ropes to keep the sides from collapsing, re adjust the legs as it fills, about every 20 min. The sand/salt filter system is easy to setup, but does require regular backwashing when first starting up. This deluxe kit came with a vacuum and tools , instructions on vacuum setup are poor. But once together right it works ok. One thing I would recommend is buying a sidewall skimmer kit. The included hanging style Skimmer likes to float and cause filtration issues.

5yrs going strong

Got great crazy deal bucks when we bought this. Ladder does hold about 200 lbs but narrow for adults. We empty ours due to living in nh. Holds more water than 14k gallons so use chemical dose for 16k if u fill to the line. Solar cover helps to heat quicker. Bought with deal $. Got a hole in it year 3( my fault lawn mower threw a rock) and still holds water. Pump could be bigger. Change sand every year

The 16’x 32’ x54” pool has been an absolute game-changer for us! We've had it for 4 years and it has stood the test of time. Despite living in a scorching hot summer climate, our pool has proven to be incredibly durable and low-maintenance. Taking it down and reassembling it has been a breeze, and keeping it sparkling clean has been a cinch!

Make sure your base is level!!!!

I bought the 2017 model for around $600. I still have it and use it Memorial weekend through October. I upgraded to best pump/salt system. I never have to add or adjust chemicals. Also replaced the liner once, the frame pieces/ corner pieces once and bought fancier ladder and a few other small pieces here and there. I have never regretted buying it and enjoy it every year. Parts weren’t always the easiest to get but I figured it out and bought extra when they are in stock. I recommend buying extra hoses that go to and from pool to pump. Direct sun and wear cause splitting.

Great Pool for the Money

I would highly recommend this pool. It is such a great pool. This is year 2 and is in great shape. I would highly recommend a pool pad installed.

This was a gift for a son his family. He read the reviews of several pools for the positive and negative. He took the time to seriously consider the work this project would take. He had to do the grading and set up with the help of a few family members. Even my 8 year old granddaughter got into the act by pulling the leveler across the sand ( she really wanted that pool, they live in high desert with temperatures over 100 deg) They decided on the salt water pump ect, and heavy duty ladder due some relatives weight. While it was a lot of work, they all agree it was worth it and it’s definitely big enough for the four of them. Long enough to do laps and more. I gave 4 Stars till we see if any major issues come up but so far good.

Intex should provide adequate pump and filter instead of bare minimum performance. Would be 5 stars if they did. This is my 2nd intex pool and upgraded everything with the 1st one so additional cost was minimal.

Shipping was pretty quick considering the pool consists of two large boxes inside of 1 box, several hundred pounds. Was delivered by box truck on a pallet. Setup on the pool was very straight forward, just follow the instructions to the tee. Do not use paver/step stones under the legs. They WILL break the moment the dirt/surface under you pool soaks up water. Go get 2x12 pressure treated wood as the instructions recommend. Pump works great, get your self the skimmer attachment that intex also sells. Not sure why people cut the side of their pool to install the side mount ones, it literally does the same thing and the included sand pump has zero issues keeping everything clean. Get yourself a drop in auto vacuum and your set.

This pool was perfect for our large family. A friend talked me into getting the biggest one. I’m glad we went with the 16x32. There’s plenty of room for several people and you don’t feel like you’re right on top of each other. The setup was intense but it was also 100 degrees when we were putting it up. You definitely need 2-3 people to get it done in a reasonable amount of time. We did have an issue with the pump but called the company and they immediately sent out a new one. We are definitely enjoying our pool!

I bought this one used to see if the size is what we wanted, it is a great size for some lap swimming and def lounging, even used, its sturdy, although i need to replace the connecting clips next year, i hope to get a few more years out of it, the sand filter works like a champ, and is easy once you learn all the steps (don't skip any steps!) then its just backwash 1x week, rinse, and filter, truely love my intex pool!

This pool has a balance of fair value and engineering. It’s not over engineered because the price point would shoot up. Understanding what value one is to expect from a price point like this is critical. Also critical is very level and very stable ground. No mud potential anywhere, hard pack only. We are building a concrete pad which can be used for other recreation in winter. Really wish there was a skimmer but otherwise the pool is worth the money and effort

Wish I would’ve been the lucky one to get the pool that didn’t leak. I wouldn’t have it one star, but everything else is fine.
