I have difficulty remembering what items are in solid color bins. Labels fall off. These clear bins are perfect for my need to see items, latches sturdy and easy for me to open and close. Stack well. Use them in closets and attractive enough to place on open shelving units. Plastic is not too stiff to easily crack, yet thick enough to be sturdy. Odor dissipated after a day.

3 of the 6 lids were cracked in various places. Lid Plastic is way to thin around the outer edges. I didn't want to go thru the hassle of returning them, I just reinforced them with a heavy duty tape. I would not recommend them to any of my friends. Design's need work in the lid area.

After many tries, I finally received a set that wasn't broken in pieces. These are shipped from Iris in a rather thin box, with no packing material at all. After being thrown around by the carrier, they become shattered and crushed. The boxes themselves are nice. They can store craft items, bath linens and things like that, but they are on the small side.

I was very excited to receive my plastic storage containers but when I opened the box after I received them via mail, I found that 5 of the 6 container lids had been broken on the edges and corners so I cannot use them. I would like a refund and then maybe order a different kind that won't break during shipping. :(

Only gave 5 stars because I don't care for the ridges in the lid. But, I do understand that they're there to add strength to it. My use is unconventional. I cut holes in the lids, add a bit of plumbing and turn them into hydroponic growing pots. Their short stature allows me to grow taller plants than I could in typical bucket type pots. The ridges in the lid make it a bit more difficult to do this. Other than that, they're fantastic containers.

Nice size for the closet

We use these in our closet for extra t-shirts, etc. These are nice size containers, well made. We had a height restriction on the shelves where these were going. Didn't want short containers but needed the extra width and length. These worked out perfect for us and we liked the locking handles.
